Rochelle is truly incredible. I honestly don’t think I would have made it through this past year without her. She walked me through some of the hardest moments of betrayal, helped me find my way to the other side, and showed me that there really is light at the end of the tunnel. If you’re struggling, she can help you too. She’s the real thing—listen to her, and trust what she says.

I worked with two hypnotherapists through JoyMind for over two years. It was hard work. It was not always what it seemed in the moments, some times I thought I was wasting my time and money & then I started noticing differences in my attitude, differences in my outlook, differences in the way I approached not only the world around me but the world inside me. Life isn’t “easier”. I’m still at the same job, same economic status, same childhood traumas, BUT because of all those differences mentioned earlier I am choosing how I some up for myself, how I allow in and handle the problems of my life. I am choosing to let go of the narrative I built, the story of my past I clung to and everyday in every way I am getting better and better and better. The staff at JOYMIND were always ready to be helpful with answers to small issues like scheduling or rescheduling and big issues too like not being able to afford a month of service and holding my space for my return. My hypnotherapists were always helping me find my strength to confront my problems in safe and ethical ways. Every time. I admire the work they do and I believe everyone should spend time working with hypnotherapists through JoyMind. They are trained through HMI, which is the only accredited hypnosis program in the country. So I think anyone would be in good hands with JoyMind!

I have never done hypnotherapy before, but I wanted to see if it would be a good companion to my normal therapy sessions. Every experience I have had with Joymind has been positive and encouraging, beginning with my initial interview conducted by Angelo. Angelo and I talked at length about my hopes and goals, about my life, my current situation and other things. The interview's purpose is so Angelo can match me with a good fit for a therapist. After our talk, he matched me with Billie. I had my first session last night, and even though I was nervous, Billie was able to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable. We practiced relaxation and visualization. I was able to visualize myself in a favorite natural space. I was able to see it, see myself in it, hear it, and feel it both physically and emotionally. When I came out of hypnosis, I had tears on my face. I found the whole experience peaceful and like I had revisited a part of myself that I had forgotten existed. I very much look forward to practicing the techniques ive learned so far throughout the week and my next session with Billie. Thank you

So far after one session, it’s been a great experience with Joymind. Straightforward process and it seems like they really care that you’re getting what you need out of your sessions. I definitely recommend it!
