As a small business owner that works with children with learning disabilities, I find that your prices on rewards to be expensive. The cost of pins are ridiculous when you look at what they are actually made of and that they are mass produced. I believe you should not be required to purchase 100 to reduce your cost. Your shipping cost are high too. You never offer any sales either. The last time I ordered, I got the wrong thing. I ordered neck ribbons that say reading and I got red ribbons instead. I did not want to pay to return them.

Jones School Supply has always treated me very kindly when I have phoned for information and orders. Always a quick return on items. They are very friendly and organized.

I had a 2014/2015 catalog. When I got the bill some of the items were not as marked in the catalog.

Good Day, Ms. Holz, We are sorry you were disappointed with the pricing on your invoice. Jones makes every effort to keep our prices low while offering the best products to our customers. Our catalogs are printed for the calendar year and we honor our prices for that catalog through December of that year, regardless of what the item cost the company. We do not have a 2014/2015 catalog. We have made every effort to keep the year over year rising costs from our manufacturers down while ensuring that we offer the best product. However, there have still been cost increases for the past several years on many items that we sell. We never like to raise our prices as we understand our customers are on a tight budget and we delay it as long as we possibly can but there comes a point where we can’t continue to absorb all of our manufacturers price increases and hope to stay in business. We value your feedback and your business and will continue to look at pricing options that will meet our customer needs. Yvonne Henry Contact Center Manager

AFTER I placed our small order, I was informed that my organization isn't a "good enough customer" to be billed, and the person on the phone demanded a credit card. When I said I don't have a company credit card, she told me we could do the order COD or cancel it. As we needed the supplies in question, I said we'd do COD. This turned into a complete, farcical nightmare. We finally got delivery of the supplies, but it required my Department manager writing a personal check to Jones. When I called to request a receipt so my manager could be reimbursed, I was e-mailed another copy of the invoice. When I e-mailed back and re-emphasized I needed a RECEIPT, I received a snotty phone call condescendingly explaining that we could not get a receipt until the COD had been received from UPS, which would take "at least three more days". So, fine, I asked that I be sent a receipt as soon as the COD payment was processed. About four days later, I asked if the payment had been processed, and was INFORMED it had not, and I would have to wait. TEN days later, I asked again, and finally received the requested receipt, but ONLY because I requested it yet again. Had I not said anything, we would very likely still be waiting for the receipt. I have worked retail and I have worked telephone customer service, and I was always taught it doesn't matter how big or small customers' purchase is, you treat them well. Clearly, this is not the Jones philosophy, and if at all possible, I will see to it that we do not use Jones again, for anything.

Good Afternoon, Ms. Lowenstein, please accept our apology for the challenges you experienced with receiving a receipt for your COD payment, and the service provided by my customer service team. As a small business since 1912, Jones values all business sizes and the payment options offered have always been in place for our customers. The representative offered a credit card payment as a form of payment based on your 5 year order history, which reflected credit card payments. However, offering a COD or applying for a line of credit could have been offered as additional options. The delay in check processing was due to UPS COD procedures. COD payments can take up to two weeks to be received from UPS and we did not receive yours until 15 days after the order was placed. Based on your order history and urgency to have a receipt, we authorized internally to send a receipt without the actual payment being received from UPS. It is Jones commitment to provide 100% customer satisfaction to all of our customers and we apologize that we were not able to achieve our commitment this year with you and your company. We hope we can regain your trust and business in the future. Yvonne Henry Contact Center Manager

I made a point to call customer service to clarify something in the catalog before I placed my order. I was very happy with the information that was given to me by the customer service rep. When I went to place my order I was given different information, I let them know that I called customer service and they said I was given wrong information. I then called customer service back and after checking she told me that she did give me wrong information. This was disappointing as I made a point to check first before I tried to place my order. I would like to think that if someone calls customer service for clarification on a catalog item they would be given correct information.

Ms. Visman, We apologize that we were unable to fulfill your recent order. It is our goal to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with our products and services. The medals you were interested in are manufactured and packaged sets of 100, and unfortunately we do not have the ability to mix and match that specific item. Ms. Visman, we value your feedback regarding the inconsistent information provided by our customer service team and we will use your feedback to reinforce our product knowledge training. Your account reflects that we have provided your school with awards and recognition products for over 12 years and we hope that in the future we can regain your trust and business.
