I have really liked the jewelry and handbags that I have borrowed, but I am wondering g about the authenticity. I borrowed 3 Van Cleef necklaces over time and none of them had the authentic stamp on the clasp. Just makes me uneasy.

Joined for only 2 months to check it out & for upcoming trips that included a black tie wedding in Manhattan. Overall I was disappointed & will cancel my membership. On the pro side there no issues with shipping at all. On the con side: very limited sizing in rings, any handbag I liked was never available. No jewelry items or evening clutches to compliment my gown for the wedding even if I upgraded to the select tier. Ended up renting jewelry from Trejours. For my lifestyle (retired) & what complimented my wardrobe there just wasn’t the availability to justify a membership. For the 2 months it was fun to have some different jewelry items to try. I would do a limited membership again only if items were available at the time I was ready to rent for a trip. They need to offer more large ring sizes, much more availability with handbags.

At present I am eligible for jewelry membership only (they have a waiting list for handbags). However they constantly send emails highlighting handbags. Spamming everyone about items they don't have access to seems lazy and misleading. Also, another reviewer said "you can get something new every week" which is not correct. In fact, after returning something, you need to wait for it to arrive and be accepted to open up a rental slot for you. Then once you order the next item, you'll wait a few days for them to send it, then a few days in transit (so like a week in terms of business days). This service really only works well if you like an item a lot and want to keep it a decent time. Otherwise you are spending your monthly item rental and only having an item a fraction of that month. I will say Switch has an excellent library of jewelry items. But be aware, as subscriptions go, you can spend a lot of time without any item.
