I signed up for Papa in September. Every time I call, I get a different person taking my call and each one tells me something different about their policies. I've been given so many contradictory information and instructions that after 2 months and many calls, I'm still confused. I've had two people (one a supervisor) that were rude and argumentative. If I didn't need help on the day of an outpatient surgery I'm having, I wouldn't bother with them. It's disappointing and discouraging. The town I live in offers zero help for someone in my position...not even Senior Servics, so I feel stuck using Papa. It's been a nightmare trying to line someone up.

Another no show from the Papa pal. You have a 50/50 chance of them actually showing up. This missed appointment wound up costing me $120. Horrible service.

This is a very unreliable service. They are no show...no calls. They have also left me stranded at a Drs visit. 50 miles from my home. Not sure if the people are properly vetted. They do no have visible IDs when they do show.

Employees aren’t valued whatsoever. The most untrustworthy and unreliable company. They do not care about anybody but the hours that they can collect to get paid by insurance companies. Worst customer service and you’re never able to speak to anything supervisor. They’re non existent according to customer service.

Papa is the worst companion company ever . It is literally just business and money for them . Did you know that as an independent contractor of papa you can get fired for keeping contact with your pals . After you spend countless hours being there especially as a preferred pal . I’ve had people who have had surgery etc who didn’t have family etc . I built relationships to be able to keep in contact outside of the papa platform if they need me for anything even as people run out of hours because 60 hrs is not a lot but this is technically not allowed . So once the insurance money is up so goes the pal and it’s supposed to be F* them after that move on . So sad

No one came again to do a visit on a day I really need help. I'm extremely upset. I have given this company so Manu chances. Now I'm going to bad mouth yhem to every single person and on socialmedia.

You have to drive a hour for trifling jobs like clean up roaches and peoples sh!t to get paid $17. I show up on time and go the extra mile and it doesn’t show. They take long to pay and don’t pay correctly. You basically have to use your own money for gas which is the money they pay you . No clients want to talk. They work you literally like a slaves . They would get you to clean their whole house if they could . This is definitely not worth (unless) you like helping people for free.

I have been a companion care worker professionally since 2003. During my employment with Papa they have repeatedly cut my bonuses and permanently took away the money they promised me for mileage. Sometimes it takes days to get a call through to support. I have had quite a few times where they cancelled the visit AFTER I completed it and didn't pay me for it. I also have to keep a constant eye on my paychecks because they often pay me less than I am owed. After 4 years of top rated service as a Papa pal... and 95% of clients instantly make me their preferred pal even on the first visit, I RARELY even take a day off. Yet Papa suspended me without even giving me a reason why. It's been more than a month and I haven't even heard a peep from Papa about what I did wrong. nor have I had the opportunity to defend myself. My clients are calling me asking when I will be back. Even Papa support is calling to ask if I can take a visit with my clients because of last minute cancellations or no-shows. The support team doesn't know why or even that I am suspended. My clients are my family and NO ONE is taking care of them. If I am not reinstated soon I am going to have to get a different job and I don't want to because I love and will dearly miss my clients... "family". I think I need to hire an attorney.
