Feb 1st and still no 1099. This company is unprofessional. Pals are underpaid for what we do. Don't work for them you will regret it. And have to pay double on taxes being considered self employed...

Papa Pal will fire you based on members reviews. They will not hear any side of your story even if you submit a screenshot of the conversation between you and the member. In their eyes the member is always right! Even if you were sexually harassed, the member is still right and you will be fired! No matter how long you have worked with the company or how many 5 star reviews you received from members, or the fact that you always showed up on time. No one was ever late for their appointments and I always went above and beyond for my clients! This is a horrible company to work for! If you choose to work for them have a back up job ready! Oh and you can not work there if you're vehicle was made in any year less than 2008! I drive a 2019 BMW X1 and I still was fired because a member's husband wanted me to call him after hours! So he gave me a bad review and I was let go after working there for 3 years! I even showed them a screenshot of the text messages! So all of my members that request me I told them do not call Papa Pal for transportation. They can contact me directly and I'll take them to their destinations with unlimited amount of time to shop or do whatever they need done! This company will be going out of business soon anyway! All of the big named insurance companies like Blue Cross have cancelled their service with Papa Pal in Michigan and I definitely see why!!

The food was delivered to me far too quick, which gives the impression it was not fresh. The topping on the pizza was pathetic, supermarkets provide far more topping for a 20th of the price. The picture on the website does not match the end product. This is false advertising, and should be taken up by senior management or report to trading standards.

At least a week ago I applied for employment as a Papa Pal. Your Pal application requested year make and model of my vehicle; model years in your drop-down menu went back only to 2008. My vehicle is a 2000 model year Toyota Camry Solara. I kept receiving vague texts — my application was incomplete yet the app showed everything was completed or pending, your text messages did not tell me Why incomplete. I called on 1/18/24, 1:23pm spoke to Miss Rodriguez, then Danielle who informed me as of yesterday 1/17/24 Papa Pal issued new policy - Pals w/vehicles older than 2008 are ineligible for employment. I’m disappointed in this new policy of yours since my 23 year old vehicle has less than169,000 miles, in pristine condition. I’ve wasted almost a week and a half waiting to be employed at Papa Pal. Part of your application should clearly state “Pals whose vehicles are older than 2008 model year are not eligible for employment with Papa Pal ON THE PAL APPLICATION.

Unreliable. Unprofessional and rude customer service. Most likely won’t be in business for long.

I received an email from papa pal changing to stripe to pay. After following their exact procedures, they are telling me that they cannot see my account information to pay. After numerous calls to Stripe, I was told that all information is there and that there is an integration issue on Papa Pal's end. Two weeks later, I still have not been paid for services and Papa Pal is still standing that I have not completed necessary information. Anyone have this issue? I am reaching out to corporate because no else is trying to help me. What poor customer service.

I've had three appointments in the last 7 days. All no shows. One today Critical Doctor appointment. Not reliable!

It's a great concept but not so great company. The pay is very low, don't reimburse you for the exact mileage, and connecting customer service is horrible. It's a contract position so you pay taxes, I got $13 an hour, which was pretty much break even after mileage and taxes. Multiple issues with not being paid correctly or at all. App never works so you need to call and wait to talk to someone all on your time. The concept is awesome, I did it for the members I met, they are great people who need the help... The company needs improvement!
