I’m new to papa, but cleaning a whole house for only 50$ an only mileage there an not back home.an that’s it, gas is over 3.00 a gallon, we are in a recession, an when u get ur check, it’s only enough to put gas in the car, no type of incentive for all that u have to do, the seniors are really sweet, but unfortunately the pay is not, it’s not worth the time or hassle, u have to literally drive all over the city, then work like a slave to clean houses only to get paid 50$, there are so many other services that pay way more than 50$ that’s a insult, meanwhile the CEO is a billionaire paying us peanuts

Again the Papa Pal did not show up..a reoccurring incident. Not a word from the Papa Pal assigned nor from Papa when the request was unassigned. Papa is a great program but since it is geared to elderly the rules need to be followed. Elderly are helpless! If we can't depend on the program it becomes useless! Sometimes I get the evaluation before the assignment takes place! Papa needs to tighten their policies.

Most of these reviews are by papa pals. So my recommendation is to not apply for the customer service position. They monitor and criticize your every movement on camera. I got fired the second week of training even though I completed and passed all of my assignments, I was so confused. There is no sense of privacy with your body. I was super attentive and engaging, but it was still not good enough for the trainer. Even if you are on mute and your face is center in the camera, they will watch you like a hawk and get mad if your lips are moving because they'll assume you're spending a few seconds talking to someone in your home even though it's none of their business. In the 6 years I've worked in customer service, this is the most invasive and uncomfortable company I have ever worked for. The trainer knew my fiancée had cancer but that did not phase him either. He obviously did not fire me directly and had someone else do it. The reasoning was that "I was too distracted" even though you could see my face the entire time on camera, my assignments were completed and passed, I was over qualified for the position and I was always participating. In reality he was upset that I wasn't as robotic as he wanted me to be because he treats everyone like a child as if we're not all adults and professionals. This is a company that gives you modules on Empathy, but they have none. The constant invasive nature they have with cameras needs to be regulated because it was not normal how much these trainers watch you. He also did not want us going to the bathroom more than 2 times a day because he felt that it was "too much". It got to a point where I felt very nervous and anxious because I kept thinking he was going to call me or others out since he had already threatened he was going to start doing that if we didn't get things right. He has no business being a trainer.

Called Papa for someone to come to our house to help tidy up a little bi on Monday for some to arrive at 9 am on Wednesday. Wednesday morning at 8:58 am someone called living two hours away and said they were on the way but had not left their residence. We canceled the request because of the lack it would have been past noon when they arrived, and we didn't wat to be stuck at the house waiting on them. So we did the work ourselves with still more to do. Papa called and tried to reschedule, but after two failed attempts at getting help, we decided Papa is of little value.

No one showed up to take me to a very important doctor visit. When I called was told that driver had canceled but no one informed me of this, This was a very important appointment that I had waited six weeks for. I will never trust these people and will be reporting my concerns to my insurance company Braven,

My mom recently received a call from her insurance stating that she could have someone from Papa Pal’s help her. She had a lady come over to help clean her house twice. The second time the women brought her mother to help. My mom caught one of the ladies taking money from a purse (which she confronted and got back). The women left with the garbage bags but did not place in the garbage cans outside. Instead placed them in their car. After they left my mother noticed things that were missing around the house.

An employee of Papa Pals met my mother several months ago after she was recovering from a bad fall. With-in 3 months she was on a POA, Medical POA, and sole Beneficiary on her Will. She tried isolating my mom from her family and started interfering in family matters. The police became involved in one instance and CPS became involved. This employee had a lengthy criminal record that included Domestic Violence and several DUIs, along with 18 alias's. This is scary stuff. So beware!!!

Papa is a terrible company to work for, unless you enjoy being sexually assaulted and traumatized on a visit and then getting nothing but $45 for the visit despite having to miss multiple days of working due to now having ptsd. Thanks so much papa.
