I had an appointment with a nurse practioner today. I'm new to Fridays so I thought they had a copy of the things i spoke about in the email. This woman had a melt down saying they just pay her $20 a call. Well I didnt know that I thought she had a chart or notes. She started screaming at me. I was just in shock.

I don’t recommend
When I joined back in May, the program seemed great. As the months progressed, the physicians were horrible. They would rush me off calls, not listen to my concerns and one provider told me just quit since I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. They weren’t forthcoming with the Tirzepatide I was taking, they kept switching my pharmacy and they downgraded my dose and didn’t even notify me of why. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I don’t recommend AT ALL!

Beyond Abysmal
Beyond Abysmal. I’ve been with Join Fridays for 8 months. Six out of eight of those months has been a huge hassle and tremendous time suck. Because of the nature of the service, you have to interact with Jon Fridays every 4 weeks, in order to receive your meds. Yesterday, was one of the days I needed to Start the refill process. I have grown to dread those days b/c I know what’s comming. To make a long story short, I ended up filling out the required online paperwork three times. From there, it should take one, 10 minute call with a provider, but no…. The providers are often clueless and have poor communication skills. I was very specific with my provider about my current dosage and what we should be doing, moving forward and my provider agree that I should stay on the same dosage. I confirmed this with her verbally, twice and I was purposely specific in order to avoid a hassle later. It should be easy. 30 minutes after the telehealth video call with my provider, I receive a email from the pharmacy advising me that I will be getting a lesser dosage, with no explanation. Meanwhile, two days b4 even having my telehealth call, my Visa card was charged, in full. I needed to find out why I was getting a lesser dose than my usual dose— that required approximately 6 emails over the next several hours with completely useless “support” representatives one of which said that I would need to have a second telehealth call— you know, because I have all the time in the world to be doing things two and three times. I was given an appointment at 6:20 last night— when I logged onto the telehealth visit at 6:18, for my 6:20 calm, I waited 30 minutes, all of this is time and date stamped on screenshots that I took. At some point a Friday’s representative comes on my telehealth visit to tell me that my provider called out, but that she’ll work diligently to find me a provider. Long, long, long story short no provider came on for an hour and 25 minutes..all to resolve an issue that SHOULD have been discussed on my earlier telehealth visit. I have screenshots of the time I got on the 6:20 Telehealth zoom and screenshots of time & date stamps proving that I waited nearly 2 hours to be assisted. It shouldn’t be this difficult or time consuming. Incidentally, Friday’s advised me that I will be receiving a lesser dosage due to the end of the medication shortage, but what’s amusing about that is that despite me getting less medicine, I will not be paying a lesser price. Sloppy, sloppy sloppy.

Broken website, terrible customer service
I would not recommend Join Fridays. Find another service. I am only using them to get a prescription sent to my pharmacy and they can't even help me with that. Their website breaks down often and is extremely hard to use. I have been messaging their customer service for a week without a clear resolution. All I want is a refill and to switch to a new pharmacy, how hard is that?
Response from Fridays HealthNov 7, 2024

Terrible communication
I was with JF for about 3 months before canceling. Once commended for their communication and customer support, they are now a telehealth company that lacks both of those qualities. They do not offer the medications they claim to offer (they do not offer 12.5 or 15 tirzeptide), their prices are not communicated well (the price you pay and the medication you are eligible for now depends on the subscription you have- that was not the case just months ago), their responses are automated, and they do not adequately inform their doctors of what is going on within the company to answer simple questions like: why can I no longer get 15? Why is my 12.5 now 11.25? How much medication am I actually injecting into my body? I understand chaos has ensued due to FDA struggles, but communication is a must. If you are looking to get medication, I suggest a different company. This one is not communicating well enough for me to trust them any longer.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about your experience. We truly value communication and transparency, so it's disappointing to know we fell short.
Regarding your concern about Tirzepatide: due to recent FDA changes, Tirzepatide is no longer on the shortage list, which means we are no longer able to offer the compounded version of this medication. This has affected the availability of certain doses, including 12.5 mg and 15 mg, and we apologize if this wasn’t communicated clearly. We understand that this can be frustrating, and we're actively working on improving how we relay these important updates to our patients.
We’re also revisiting our pricing and communication systems to ensure a smoother, more transparent process moving forward. Your experience highlights areas where we need to improve, and we will be addressing these internally. I do want to point out that our pricing is available under the "pricing" tab on our website.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We’d love the opportunity to assist you further and rebuild your trust. Please feel free to reach out directly if you have any additional concerns.
