Prescription Refill Headache
Prescription Refill Review is such a headache every time. The providers who conduct these quick refills do not read the intake form notes for updates in information or pharmacies. My prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy and each time, is missing the ICD-10 diagnosis code which is needed for it be filled using my insurance (which I wrote in the intake note as a reminder to include). I then would need to call in or email their support, which then forwards the concern to the particular prescriber. You cannot message the prescriber directly, so this takes time and delays the refill. The only time it was ever correct was from my inital consultation. I am hoping that the process will be come better over time.
