Communication is terrible and no one is on the same page. It’s very frustrating.

Medication potency is not good, pharmacy takes 2+ weeks to get medicine
Quick getting started process, pretty hassle free. The problem comes in getting your medication in a timely manner for one. The quality or potency of their product is not good, for two. I've been on GLP-1's on and off for 3 years and I actually gained weight. So after two months and multiple request to titrate up and missing my medicine because their pharmacies are so slow, I was done. There are far too many companies out there that are doing GLP-1's to settle. I'm moving on to something that works like it should. I feel like I got all B12 and no tirzepitide in my medicine. Food noise continued, appetite was robust.

Hi William, thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry that, despite having a smooth start, the delays and your concerns about the medication have left you disappointed. Waiting more than two weeks for medication is understandably frustrating, especially when you were already requesting a dosage adjustment and felt you weren’t seeing the results you expected.
This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We’d appreciate the opportunity to review your treatment and shipment history so we can better understand what happened and address your concerns about both the delays and your experience with the medication.

Too big, too quick
I have had a great experience over the last 2 months; however, I was charged for month 3 and was notified that my package would arrive by Friday, October 2, but it didn't. When I tracked the package with UPS, I saw that the label had been created, but UPS had not yet received the package. As it is important to take injections on a consistent schedule to minimize side effects, I was concerned that I would not receive the medication, an increased dose, by my next injection date, tomorrow. When I reached out to customer service via chat, I received conflicting information. One message said the label had been created, and the package was waiting to be picked up in Troy, MI; in the same chat, I was told my package had been picked up and that I could arrange delivery with UPS today. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told that was all the information they had in their system so that they couldn't provide any further details. Finally, as I was inputting my response to their survey, I was cut off. I fear that because of their convenient pricing, Embody has taken on too many new patients too quickly and is unable to keep up with their orders. Rather than owning up to it, customer service appears to be backpedaling. It's not a good look, and it's not appropriate customer service.

We are very sorry for the frustration and stress this situation has caused. Maintaining a consistent routine with your medication is incredibly important, and we fully understand why the shipping delay and conflicting tracking information caused such concern. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details.

Customer service has been incredible
Customer service has been incredible. Sure fast responses, medication arriving immediately, absolutely no problems con that end. However, I haven’t lost one pound in three months. They up’d the dose and I gained 2 lbs. I think it’s a pharmacy issue. I haven’t read any reviews where this has been a problem though. Not sure what to do. This would be a 5 star review if I actually lost any weight.
Update: Thank you Embody for responding so quickly. I want to stress that this company is extremely communicative and solves any issues promptly. They have been a great provider. I do believe I should have been on a higher dose and that has been corrected. I’m happy to give it a couple of weeks on the new dose to see if weight loss begins.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are pleased to know that our support team and fast deliveries met your expectations. At the same time, we fully acknowledge your disappointment regarding the lack of progress with your treatment goals and your concerns about the medication's effectiveness. Everyone's journey is unique, but we take your experience very seriously. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details.

Based on publicly available feedback
Based on publicly available feedback, some customers have discussed difficulties understanding certain service terms. I recommend reviewing all policies carefully and requesting clarification before completing a purchase if anything is unclear.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Annie, thank you for sharing this feedback. We understand that navigating service terms and policies can sometimes be confusing, and we agree that customers should feel confident about what they’re agreeing to before making a purchase.
We appreciate the reminder that clear communication matters. We’ll take this feedback seriously and continue working to make our policies and expectations easier to understand for our customers.

Concerned.
I was very excited about this company to begin with. The consult was great. Meds came in quickly but now I’ve missed a dose with no clue as to when the next meds will come. I emailed joinem but received a standard bot response so that was useless. I called customer service but was told it was sent to the pharmacy which I knew and wasn't able to give me any idea as to when it might be processed. Said the pharmacy is backed up with orders. That’d be fine if I still had enough meds to get by but I don't so I missed this week’s dose. Then I started reading reviews with several saying it’s been four weeks and still nothing.Of course thats got me stressed even more. Not knowing how long it will be before i receive them and the thought of having to possibly start back to a beginning dose is stressful. I do understand that they may be overwhelmed with new patient orders due to a summer sale but current customers shouldn't have to pay the price for that. Shouldn't have to miss doses. By the time you can send in the refill form, you’re usually already on your fourth dose. I don't want to quit or change providers but I’ll just have to see if this tends to be a repeating problem.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Rita, thank you for sharing your feedback. It is completely understandable how stressful it is to experience a delay in your refill, especially when it leads to a missed dose. Maintaining a consistent treatment schedule is important, and having to worry about shipment timelines or potentially restarting a dose is certainly not the experience we want for you. Your feedback regarding the timing of the refill process is very valuable, and we are actively working with our partner pharmacies to address these backlogs and improve shipping updates. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to make this right.

I have waited almost two weeks and…
I have waited almost two weeks and nothing has been shipped. All they keep telling me is it’s processing my 2nd payment is about to come out before my first months medication has even been shipped! I may just go and cancel
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Kendra, thank you for sharing your feedback and please accept our sincerest apologies for the stress and frustration caused by the delay in shipping your order. It is completely understandable to feel upset when your next billing date is approaching before your initial prescription has arrived. This is certainly not the level of care we aim for our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details.

A frustrating experience that finally received appropriate attention
UPDATE 10/6/26:
After posting this review, the situation continued. On 10/5, I contacted support again after never receiving the promised escalation call and learned that, despite being repeatedly told on 10/2 that an escalation ticket had been created, no ticket had actually been opened. I had been waiting for a call from an escalation that apparently did not exist. New escalation tickets were created on 10/5.
I also exchanged several emails with Patient Experience that day and repeatedly requested cancellation of my remaining six-month commitment and a prorated refund. My medication finally had a shipping label created with UPS on 10/5 with tracking updates citing expected 10/7 delivery (2 weeks after Embody sent the prescription to the pharmacy).
On 10/6, Luis from Patient Experience called me. I want to give credit where it is due: he was extremely helpful, answered several questions I had been unable to get answered previously, scheduled a provider appointment regarding my delayed dose/dose increase, and provided a hopefully better contact option for future concerns. During our conversation, I agreed to give Embody another month try before proceeding with cancellation.
I believe in leaving ethical reviews, which means I will not delete an accurate account of a poor experience simply because it was eventually addressed, but I will also acknowledge when a company takes meaningful steps to improve it. I will continue updating this review if my experience materially changes.
Because of Luis’s assistance and the resolution of the immediate shipping issue, I have increased my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

Nearly two hours with support and still no answer about my medication
I wanted to have a good experience with Embody, but at this point I am seriously questioning whether I can continue trusting them to reliably manage a time-sensitive medication.
My prescription was sent to the pharmacy on September 23. By October 2, I still had no shipping notification or tracking information, so I contacted customer support at 6:57 a.m. because I am approaching my scheduled injection and this shipment contains a dose increase.
What followed was 1 hour and 55 minutes in customer support chat, and I ultimately left without a resolution.
During the conversation, I was told that my medication was still with the pharmacy and had not yet been handed over to a carrier. I was then told Embody’s standard processing and delivery timeframe is now 7–10 business days. When I explained that the timeframe was 5–7 days when I enrolled and specifically asked when it changed, the representative responded, “It was just recently updated.”
I was never notified that the fulfillment timeframe had changed.
That was especially concerning because Embody’s own website advertises “fast shipping” and states that medication is dispatched from the pharmacy within 1–2 business days following clinical approval. I repeatedly asked how those representations aligned with my prescription remaining at the pharmacy since September 23, but I never received a meaningful explanation.
My biggest concern, however, was not simply that a package was taking longer than expected. I repeatedly explained that I was approaching my scheduled dose and asked what options were available to prevent me from missing it. Because this shipment is also my scheduled dose increase, I wanted appropriate guidance about what I should do if the medication did not arrive in time.
Despite spending nearly two hours in chat, support could not provide that guidance, connect me with someone who could, give me an estimated timeframe for when the escalation team would contact me, or even provide a reference number for the escalation. I was eventually told there was no supervisor available and that someone would call me “anytime soon.”
The most frustrating part is that I wasn’t demanding that a customer-service representative somehow make a pharmacy ship a package instantly. I was asking for accurate information, appropriate escalation, and a plan for what happens when a fulfillment delay affects a scheduled medication dose. Nearly two hours should have been more than enough time to provide that.
As of the time I am writing this review, my medication still has not shipped, I still do not know when it will ship, and I still have no guidance regarding my upcoming dose. I have been told only that my concerns were escalated and that I should wait for a phone call “anytime soon,” with no timeframe provided.
Regardless of what happens with the escalation from here, spending nearly two hours trying to get basic information about a time-sensitive medication and leaving without answers has significantly changed my confidence in this service.
Response from EmbodyOct 2, 2026
Hi Jacquelynn, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are deeply sorry for the frustrating and prolonged experience you had with customer support while trying to get critical information about your medication shipment. We understand how concerning it is to face delays when you are approaching a scheduled dose, particularly with a dose increase, and we apologize for the lack of clear timeline updates, the contradictory fulfillment information, and the inability to provide immediate medical guidance or timely management escalation during your chat.
Your feedback regarding the changes to processing timeframes and the need for clear instructions during delays is being taken very seriously. We would appreciate the opportunity to look directly into your account status and support interactions so we can address these issues and help ensure you receive the answers and care you need.
