This has been a terrible experience I was really excited when I got my first month script and everything seemed to be legitimate. Now it’s my second month I was billed on September 21 I keep getting delay emails. I call and they say that it’s 10 business days. They give me no other answers tomorrow makes 10 business days. I called the pharmacy this morning medivera was my pharmacy. They stated they have the script but the dr that wrote it is not authorized to prescribe medication. So it got kicked back to open loop (which is the company that handles the dr’s I guess.) so I call embody tell them what I found out and they have me on hold for 30 minutes. Then they say they got approval for another dr to write the script it will happen at some point. Oh ya this also resets my 10 business day wait time. As it doesn’t start until the pharmacy receives the new script and I don’t know when that will be. This is a miserable experience. I think I’m just going to charge it back and count my losses.

Hi Anthony, thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about this frustrating and confusing experience, especially after a positive start. The repeated delays, conflicting information from different parties, and the reset of your waiting period are certainly not the experience we want for our patients. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provider our patients. We'd like to review your account to understand what happened and address your concerns.

Embody is a huge scam
Embody is a huge scam. My purchase was for six month supply of trizepitide for $738. They sent the first month then ghosted me. At the end of the first month I completed the monthly intake form for the refill which never got reviewed. They never sent any additional medication. I reached out to them four or five times and continually received the response "your issue has been elevated and you should receive a response in 24-48 hours." I have yet to receive a response. I had no side effects or results when using the first month of medication which makes me wander if it was legitimately a GLP1 or if it was just a saline solution. Due to no response from embody I've had to file a fraud claim with the BBB and dispute the credit card purchase since I didn't receive the product paid for. I strongly recommend to stay away from Embody, it is a total SCAM!

Hi Jared, we understand how frustrating it would be to pay for a multi-month supply, receive only the first month, and then have difficulty getting a response regarding the remaining orders. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We'd like the opportunity to review what happened with your refill request and the communications you had with our team.

Beware
"Beware of their cancellation and refund practices. I cancelled my month-to-month order during my second month, well before the medication was filled or processed, and even before the Physician Assistant (PA) approved the next request. I spoke with multiple representatives and even had an appointment with the PA, who explicitly confirmed the medication had not been processed or filled and stated she would notify the company to refund my money.
Despite this—and despite their official policy stating you can cancel at any time before your next shipment to avoid being charged—they sent an email later that day refusing a refund, claiming they cannot process monetary refunds for past or processed charges. They completely violated their own stated policy. I would definitely not recommend them."
I received an email from Embody that they were not going to fill my prescription until I visited my family doctor and got a note from them. (don't know what they wanted on the note) I told them I was not going to go to my doctor because I would have to pay for that visit. I told them to cancel my order. After that I received several emails and text messages that that would not fill the order until I had a note from my physician. I went on their website and canceled my prescription. They continued with the notices. On Sept 4, 2026, my credit card was charged for the medicine. I called customer service and they said they would have to connect me with a PA. We arranged an appt and on 9/29/26. I spoke with the PA and she said that the medicine had not been ordered and had not been shipped. I said I wanted a refund. Jo, the PA, said she would would cancel the order and I would receive a refund. I then received an email from Embody and it said " Regarding your billing, I want to clarify that we are unable to process a monetary refund for past or processed charges in accordance with our refund policy". This is what your cancelation policy says, "You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next medication shipment to avoid being
charged for the upcoming billing cycle." I want my money refunded.

Embody Scam
I started with Embody back in August, and my first two months were great. I received my medication quickly the first month, increased it for the second month, and received that prescriptionquickly, as well. Now we're in the third month, and my dose was set to increase again, and was due on 9/29. On 9/18 I received an email from patient support asking if it was okay to charge my card and send my prescription to the pharmacy and I replied immediately for them to complete the order. On 9/19, I received another email from patient support that my order was successfully sent to the pharmacy and would be shipped in 3-5 business days. Its now 10/1, and my order STILL HASN'T SHIPPED. I have reached out MULTIPLE times to patient support by email and chat support on the website and now I'm getting '7-10 business days' as an answer. Right there on my patient portal it tells me that my card will be charged in 16 more days, and I still haven't even received the order I already paid for. I've missed my dose, and the company is refusing to refund me. If I don't have shipping information by tomorrow, 10/2, the tenth business day, I will be disputing the charge with my bank and filing a complaint with my state's Consumer Protection Bureau. After a really positive start, I feel scammed.

Refill and billing delays left me without my medication
I joined Embody in August and initially had a good experience with the medication itself. Unfortunately, the refill, billing, shipping, and customer service process has resulted in an interruption in my treatment.
My refill was completed and prescribed on September 21. Embody charged me $129 on September 26. My next weekly injection was due September 27, but the medication had not shipped. As of October 1, my account still showed the prescription “At the pharmacy” with tracking listed as “To be shipped.”
This was particularly frustrating because I had already contacted Embody previously about problems with the timing of their billing and refill process. I specifically tried to get the schedule corrected so there would be enough time for future medication to arrive before I ran out.
When I contacted support on October 1, the representative confirmed that the pharmacy received my prescription September 26. I was then told that although orders normally process within 3–5 business days, they are currently experiencing pharmacy delays and fulfillment is taking approximately 7–10 business days.
That is a serious problem with a medication that is taken on a weekly schedule. By the time I was given that information, I had already missed my scheduled injection.
Support initially suggested pausing my account, even though I explained that my account had previously been paused and that pausing it did nothing to resolve the medication I was already waiting for. I ultimately requested that my subscription be completely cancelled and requested a refund of the September 26 payment because the medication had not shipped.
My refund request was initially denied based on Embody’s non-refundable payment policy. After I specifically requested escalation, support agreed to send the refund request to management and told me I should receive a decision within 24–48 hours.
I then asked a simple question: while management reviews the refund, will the prescription I already paid for continue being filled and shipped, and if the refund is denied, will I still receive the medication I paid for?
After waiting several minutes while the representative reviewed my account, I was told that the pending September 26 order would have to be paused while management reviews my refund request. Immediately afterward, the chat system disconnected me for being “idle too long,” even though I had been waiting for the representative to review my account.
As of writing this review on October 1, my subscription has been cancelled, my refund request is pending management review, and the medication associated with my September 26 payment has not shipped.
I understand that pharmacy delays can happen. My issue is how Embody’s refill and billing process handled that delay. A monthly medication service should have a refill schedule that accounts for pharmacy processing and shipping time so patients aren’t left without medication between orders.
I have saved the order history, payment history, refund policy, and complete support conversation documenting the timeline above. I will update this review when Embody provides its final decision regarding the refund and/or medication.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY- NO REFUNDS
Be very cautious. If you are hoping to get started quickly, then this is not the one for you. They advertise it as though everything happens so quickly, but in reality it may be a month before you even get your meds and then it’s time for your next payment and cycle. Read the fine print, THEY DO NOT OFFER A REFUND after you realize that their appointments are a week to two weeks out AFTER YOUVE ALREADY PLACED AN ORDER. I ordered on September 22nd, and the next appointment was not available until September 29th. Again, you can’t see this until after you’ve paid, because of course I wanted to cancel and just go to a fat doctor here in town. But i spent my money and now i want my product.
Fast forward to the 29th, my appointment was on time and she sent it to the pharmacy that day. Well the updated delivery date says OCTOBER 12th. A week before my next payment and dosage is due. UNBELIEVABLE!!They offer to pause but that’s is unacceptable. As I type this, it is still sitting at the pharmacy according to the tracking info. Beware. Just pay the for quality, efficiency, and prompt shipping. Do Not get your glp-1 with embody. You get what you pay for. I will update once I finally see the product has shipped and delivered to me.
Update: Still no update on shipping from embody. I did however buy the Groupon for 1st RX yesterday, had my consultation a few hours later, and my meds have already shipped via fedex as of today. I highly recommend starting there and it is a much better deal. I chose the 8 week supply to start of Tirzepatide. Paid $229.
Update: On 10/02 Recieved a message that the pharmacy is behind so my order has not shipped. I chatted once again requesting it be canceled and a refund issued. They said it cannot be cancelled because the order is prepared for shipment, mind you the system said the pharmacy is behind.
I started my first shot today the 1st RX. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT give Embody your money.
Update: 10/06/2026- Finally Received the meds. I will not be starting them but will keep for my second set of dosing as long as prescription is not expired. It will save me money in my next set of fees from 1stRX.

Hi Christian, thank your for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience and the significant delays you've encountered in receiving your medication. It's completely understandable how upsetting it is to be charged and then face such a long wait for an appointment and then for your product to ship, especially when you were hoping for a quick start.
We apologize for the lack of clarity regarding appointment availability before payment and the extended delivery timeline. We understand your frustration with the tracking information and the thought of another payment being due before you've even received your initial order. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. They are an online money scam company based in India. Everyone is approved for a medication that they don’t actually send you. They keep telling you week after week that it’s processing and will be shipped in 7-10 days yet that day comes and goes with no change. I tried multiple times having my order escalated to either ship out immediately with overnight priority shipping or refund my order. Their response is they don’t ship overnight priority and they do NOT give refunds!!!
