Ambiguous interactions with customer service, over emailing but failure to provide requested confirmation emails upon cancellation.

Lack of communication when sending…
Lack of communication when sending emails. Had my first nurse appt and she was great and helped me understand the process. Meds come in plenty of time. Just need to be better about getting good and consistent information.
Response from EmbodyOct 8, 2026
Hi Debbie, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad your initial nursing consultation went well and your prescriptions arrived promptly. We recognize your frustration regarding inconsistent email communication, and we are updating our messaging protocols to ensure clear, reliable information is provided moving forward.

Not off to a good start w shipping!!!
So I submitted everything and my cc was charged and I was approved all w.i 2 mins. Went perfectly. The second my card was charged they told me there is a backup in pharmacy and now this won't go out until possibly the 16 and I ordered on 5th. I reached out less than 18 hrs after I ordered it and they said NO REFUNDS. Why didn't they tell me there is a shipping delay B4 they charged my card? That's not good when people travel. Not off to a good start here. Let's hope it improves? I will update once recd.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Denise, thank you for sharing your feedback and please accept our sincerest apologies for the frustration, especially after everything went smoothly during the initial approval and then learning about the pharmacy delay only after your card had already been charged. We’re sorry that the shipping delay wasn’t communicated sooner and that you weren’t given the clarity you expected when you contacted us. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details.

Challenges and frustrations but working through them
I’ve had some challenges and difficulties with communicating regarding my medication, but fortunately I have worked with a VIP agent named Marie who has always helped me work through things. For her I give five stars. For the company in the ability to communicate, my star rating is lower. I would like to see the opportunity to have a chat box that I can communicate directly and see my previous conversations with a provider or a representative. Working with other apps, you are able to do this in your messages, routed to a provider or a representative depending on the need. Figuring out how to communicate has been a challenge. I’m still new so my star rating may change but at this point, I’m giving three stars for all the difficulty I’ve had with communication.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Crenshaw, it’s encouraging to hear that Marie has been able to provide the support you needed and that you’ve had someone who consistently helps you work through your concerns. We’ll make sure that recognition is appreciated. At the same time, we understand your frustration with the broader communication process, especially as a newer patient trying to figure out where and how to get help.
Your suggestion for a more direct messaging system with access to previous conversations is thoughtful and helpful. Clear continuity between patients, providers, and support representatives can make a big difference, and we appreciate you taking the time to share such specific feedback.

Read the reviews and moderate your expectations
The sign-up process was easy. My initial shipment was sent quickly. Caution: when you were going through checkout, they will ask you if you want to add all these additional meds. Check these carefully, since I accidentally checked one for NAD, and there was no way to uncheck it before checkout. I immediately contacted Customer Service, and asked to have a canceled. They said it was canceled. I was still shipped and charged for it. The other two medication‘s arrived quickly. At my month one refill time, I was charged at the right time, but two weeks later my medication says “under medical review“. I contacted customer service, who was no help. All they did was schedule me for a doctors appointment. Yet, here I am, two weeks after the credit card charge, and no medication. Sure, there may be lots of positive reviews, but be sure to read the negative ones too, because there are common themes.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026
Hi Eric, we sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you had with your checkout process, customer support, and the unexpected delay in receiving your refill. It is deeply concerning to hear that an unwanted item was shipped despite your request to cancel it, and that your ongoing treatment was paused after your payment was processed. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details. Your experience matters to us and we're committed on addressing your concerns.

Delays and excuses are the only things delivered on time
UPDATE:
I have edited the review (for now) to 3 stars. One of the customer service reps from Embody actually reached out to me today. They didn't try to sign me back up for the meds I discontinued. They just asked for an opportunity to do better on the next refill and prove themselves. We'll have another conversation at refill time and then I will update here again and possibly renew my other subscriptions. I can't argue with the results. Another update to come in a couple weeks or so.
ORGINAL POST:
Ok, so I'll try to be fair here and highlight a little of the positive and not just harp on the negatives. However, given the negatives are around getting the actual medication, its 100% a ONE star experience.
I would guess a lot of the positive reviews aren't recent. If they are, I'll be even more upset because that means it just me or the pharmacy they sent my meds.
Sign up was easy. Its a website and telehealth. There's at least a dozen reputable GLP online businesses out there fighting for our money. Embody looked good. Solid information, solid options, and supplements to make sure you stay healthy while losing the tonnage. I signed up for Tirzepatide, Semorelin, NAD+, and the VIP+ membership at somwwhere around $300 a month all in. Initial medications trickled in over the course of 2 weeks. I wanted to start everything on time together but that wasnt possible now. That's when the trouble started. Getting the medications. Having them, the packaging, instructions, and their performance? All exactly as expected. Getting the orders from med staff to pharmacy and them pharmacy to home was 100% of the battle.
Come refill time I filled out my form and waited but nothing was happening. I had already argued with them about my billing cycle because I'll be paying weeks before month 2 meds arrive.
I started sending emails and getting the old "We're sorry but were really busy" responses.
VIP customer service is located on the east coast so every time I would complain or inquire I would get a phone call and a voicemail before my morning alarm would go off. Every time. Even after I asked and explained I'm on pacific time.
Finally I got into a text message argument with my customer service rep after I was told "orders are not sent to the pharmacy until the 23rd to 28th day after you received your prior medication".
This was on the 32nd day since I got my meds. I was definitely going to miss at least one weekly dose of Tirzepatide and probably 2 doses if I wanted to stay consistent with a Saturday start date.
Finally the order went to the pharmacy and took a week to get fulfilled and sent out. Meantime, I got the NAD+ (over a week after the first one was done). Finally Tirzepatide arrived mid week the following week. I still haven't gotten the Sermorelin yet. It'll be here tomorrow.
What an unbelievable cluster. At one point, I told the customer service rep I don't want him calling me anymore. They don't listen anyway. And it doesn't speed anything up. I want to send you $300 a month and you send me medicine on time.
Right now I am paying a monthly fee for a month's worth of medication that takes 6 weeks to get. So ultimately it's genius on their part. I'll pay 12 months of subscription services and get about 8 months of medication at this rate.
I asked for the Sermorelin and NAD+ and VIP subscriptions to be dropped. At least I won't be juggling 3 different refill dates. So far the meds are canceled but I'm still a "VIP" for now.
The good? I dropped 22 pounds in the 1 month that I actually had all 3 meds. I've never had all 3 at the same time again, though. I've looked into switching providers, but now that I'm on it, its not easy to switch to another telehealth provider and make it seamless.
Trapped for now, I guess. If I endup going 2 weeks without Tirzepatide after month 2, I'll have no choice but to seek out another provider. I am guessing SOMEONE out there wants to take my money in exchange for goods and services delivered on time.
And yes... all of this has taken place during my FIRST TWO MONTHS with Embody.
I've emailed and texted and called, but the (very nice) customer service rep is clearly powerless to do anything about the problems. He will call you, tough. Every day if necessary, before your alarm goes off. And he will tell you again how busy the pharmacy is, and how sorry they are.
I've never had to wait 2 weeks for Walgreens or Costco or CVS to fill a prescription. What kind of half baked operation are they using? Or are these delays on purpose, to stretch the timing of refills and save a few months worth of fees?
I'll never know. 3 more weeks and I'll be screaming for a refill again and getting daily "we are sorry" excuses. I think Ro or someone else will be happy to help me out.

Time to receive product after ordering…
Time to receive product after ordering was way longer than advertised. Support people were not well informed and not very helpful. My account rep, Janelle was very good! Very helpful and a good communicator. Friends I've referred are having the same time problems. I'm hoping these are just growing pain that will be ironed out moving forward.
Response from EmbodyOct 7, 2026

I ordered on September 27 and I just…
UPDATE- I will say that the customer support has been amazing. I have received a few texts and calls apologizing for the delay. I just got a text today, Oct 7 stating my order has shipped. I have added more stars due to how impressed I am with the level of attention I have received in the last few days.
I ordered on September 27 and I just received a text saying its still processing and will be delivered in 7-10 business days. This means I will miss my next shot. I was so excited to pay less than what I have been paying with the other brand I use, but I guess you get what you pay for. Customer service was nice, but said I cant cancel this order. So I had to order from my previous company and spend even more money. Not sure when the Embody will be delivered.

We also apologize for the disappointment regarding our cancellation policy when you reached out for assistance. We would appreciate the opportunity to look into your order details and help address your concerns.
