They never called me for my appointment. Just marked me as missed. Then when I called to say this, they just APPROVED my medicine without talking to me. They have charged me twice and I haven’t received anything. I have asked for a refund. This is a scam! Go elsewhere!

Hi Brittney, we are very sorry to hear about your experience regarding the missed appointment call, the unprompted medication approval, and the repeated charges without receiving your order. We understand how incredibly frustrating this situation is, especially when you are waiting on a resolution for your refund request. This is certainly not the level of service or care we strive to deliver. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to review your account details, investigate what happened with your appointment and billing, and work toward addressing your concerns.

Terrible experience with support
Update - Just wanted to respond to their comment below....this is the definition of the company they say they are going to do something but never do. NOBODY has still reached out. |||||
There is just a lot misinformation about the support you will get. The 24/7 support is false. What you get is 24/7 support of a chat that will actually do nothing for you. I was having some bad nausea side effects and contacted support. I was sick for 2 days before I even got a response that was only to deny me any help at all and was just told to see personal physician. It was an absolute terrible experience. Despite the lower price I was paying.....the get what you pay for really came into play here. Please seek a different provider if your not familiar or are new coming into this.

3 Shots Behind
I am 3 shots behind because I can't get them to send my medication. They keep telling me it's been escalated and someone will reach out to me. Nope. No one has reached out. All I want is my medication or my money back so I can buy it from someone else.

Hi Laura, we are truly sorry to hear about the delay in receiving your medication and the frustration caused by the lack of follow-up after your issue was escalated. Falling behind on your scheduled doses is deeply concerning, and we understand your desire for a prompt resolution or a refund. This is certainly not the level of care and communication we aim to provide to our patients. We would appreciate the opportunity to look directly into your account so we can address these communication gaps and work toward resolving this situation for you.

EMBODY IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
EMBODY IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.
I genuinely regret signing up with Embody. If you're considering them for GLP-1 treatment, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Between the repeated delays, medication issues, and complete lack of accountability, I've lost all confidence in this company.
First, they didn't even provide enough medication in my previous vial to cover my prescribed doses for the month. I had to take less than prescribed because there simply wasn't enough medication.
Then my next prescription sat at their pharmacy well past the time I should have already received it. No tracking number, no explanation, and no reliable delivery estimate. This wasn't an isolated incident. Delayed prescriptions have been a recurring problem.
I spent an absurd amount of time dealing with their online chat, which appeared to be an AI chatbot presenting itself as a real representative. It repeatedly assured me my issue was being escalated, but after pressing for confirmation, it admitted it couldn't even verify that an escalation had occurred. I repeatedly requested a supervisor and got nothing but scripted responses and wasted time.
I finally called customer service, only to discover that speaking with an actual person wasn't much more productive. The representative was polite, but couldn't expedite my prescription, issue a refund, explain the delay in any meaningful detail, or offer a workable solution.
What concerned me most was their explanation that the pharmacy was overwhelmed by an increase in customers and orders.
That's a business operations problem, and existing customers should not be paying the price for it. If Embody cannot accommodate additional prescriptions, they should address their fulfillment capacity before continuing to expand. Instead, customers who have already prepaid for their treatment are left dealing with delayed medication and interrupted dosing schedules. If processing takes longer, prescriptions should be submitted earlier. Managing that timeline is Embody's responsibility, not the patient's.
To make matters worse, I was preparing to leave for a weeklong vacation, and they couldn't guarantee my temperature-sensitive medication wouldn't be delivered to my empty house while I was gone. They couldn't refund me or even ensure the shipment would be held. Their solution was to call back for a replacement if it arrived while I was away and was no longer usable.
If they can't reliably fulfill my original prescription, why would I have any confidence in their ability to provide a timely replacement?
I ultimately canceled my membership. Future charges have been stopped, but they've still got my money, I still don't have my medication, and I have no idea when or in what condition it will arrive.
And apparently, I'm far from the only customer dealing with this. After looking into Embody's parent company, Modern Metabolic Medicine, Inc., I found that it has a C- rating with the Better Business Bureau, nearly 200 complaints, and an average customer-review rating of approximately 1 out of 5 stars. Reading through the complaints, I found other customers describing nearly identical experiences involving delayed medications, interrupted treatment, poor communication, and denied refunds. These aren't just occasional shipping mishaps. There are repeated reports of the same problems, and I wish I'd read them before signing up.
The most frustrating part is that once you've prepaid, you're left with very little recourse when they fail to deliver. No refund, no dependable fulfillment timeline, and no meaningful resolution.
I understand occasional shipping delays. What I don't understand is a company providing ongoing prescription treatment failing to account for those delays and leaving patients to deal with the consequences.
If you're considering Embody, take this as a warning. You're trusting them with your money and your prescribed treatment. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend trusting them with either.

I cancelled 6 weeks ago and just got almost a $400 charge. This is a scam, don’t use this company. Customer service is awful and I’m still disputing and I didn’t get the medicine.

Do not believe a word they put online
The website says GLP-1 medication shipped to your door in 1-2 business days. False. Once I registered, and of course, paid, my portal said I would get tracking information in 2 business days. False. Over a week later all I've gotten is emails with excuses and false promises that the medication will be shipped soon. My portal has a disclaimer that the pharmacy is backed up. Yet again, on their website it says medication in stock and available alongside a photo of what I had ordered. So it’s delayed for me but to get new customers it’s available ?? Yet I guarantee if I had not cancelled they would take the next months payment before I got this months medication. Of course they wont issue a refund however after research their no refund policy doesn’t hold up because they haven’t fulfilled their end of the deal within the timeframe they provided.

Hi Jennifer, we are so sorry for the frustration and disappointment caused by the shipping delays, conflicting availability information, and issues regarding your order status and refund request. It is completely understandable how upsetting it is to experience long wait times and communication gaps when you were expecting a quick delivery timeframe. We would appreciate the opportunity to thoroughly review your account and order history to address these concerns and better understand what happened.

I am very frustrated with Embody
I am very frustrated with Embody. Starting off from the beginning my orders have been delayed. Then I ordered B12 injections on 9/21 and today is 10/8 and I still haven’t received it. My next order for tirzepatide was approved on 9/25 and I haven’t received it either however the money has been withdrawn from my card. I called and requested to speak with a supervisor and was told 48 to 72 hours someone will contact me. After this subscription I think I will probably cancel. I need stability in my health journey.
Response from EmbodyOct 8, 2026
Hi Roxie, we’re truly sorry for the repeated delays and for the frustration this has caused. We understand how concerning it is to still be waiting on both your B12 order and your tirzepatide shipment while the charges have already gone through. You shouldn’t have to keep chasing updates, especially when what you’re looking for is consistency and reliability in your health journey.
We also apologize that you were given a 48–72 hour timeframe for a supervisor callback and are still waiting. We understand why this experience has made you reconsider continuing with Embody. Your concerns deserve proper follow-through, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to review your orders and account and work toward a resolution.

LATE AND DEFECTIVE DRUGS - NO REFUNDS
I do not recommend GLP1s from Embody. My last shipment was a disaster. I paid for Rx and it was approved but took over a week to ship. When I did receive it it wasnt packed properly so it wasnt as cold as it should be. I dont think it was effective bcuz I have actually gained 2 lbs in the past month while using it, I have zero appetite suppression. Also, BEWARE THEY DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THE CHEAPER PRICE ISNT WORTH RECEIVING LATE AND INEFFECTIVE DRUG!!!
Response from EmbodyOct 8, 2026
Hi Tara, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are deeply sorry to hear about your experience with shipping delays, improper packaging, and the lack of results you experienced with your medication. Receiving a shipment that is not properly chilled and dealing with an interruption in your treatment plan is incredibly frustrating, especially when you are counting on consistent support and effectiveness.
This is certainly not the level of care or quality we aim to provide. We would appreciate the opportunity to look into your account, review the details of your recent shipment, and address your concerns regarding your treatment experience. Your feedback is important to us, and we want to help address what went wrong.
