Prescribed a lower dose than I was already taking
Buyers beware. If you’re considering trying them, I strongly recommend purchasing only one month to start. I purchased a 6-month package without knowing what dosage I would ultimately be prescribed. I was already taking 25 mg of Wegovy, which they were aware of, yet I was prescribed only 0.4 mg of the injection. For me, that dosage felt far too low to justify the cost of a long-term package. My advice: don’t commit to a 6-month plan until you know what dosage you’ll actually be prescribed. Otherwise, you could end up paying a lot of money for a treatment that may not be at a level you find effective. Do your research, ask questions about dosing before you pay, and consider starting with just one month rather than locking yourself into a package.

We understand why this experience left you disappointed. Committing to a 6-month package and then receiving a prescription that was different from what you expected can understandably raise questions about whether the plan was the right fit for you. We’re sorry we didn’t make the prescribing process and what to expect clear enough before you made that commitment. Dosing decisions are made by the medical provider based on each patient’s individual circumstances, but we agree that having a better understanding of the process upfront is important. We appreciate you sharing this feedback, as it gives us an opportunity to improve how we communicate these expectations with our patients. - Embody Team
