Scam
Minimal contact besides a text from someone that can not answer any questions. RX was supposedly sent to pharmacy, yet it is impossible to contact pharmacy, which is who they continue to transfer me to. All of this “customer support” feels like AI responses. This is the time we live in I guess. I’ve worked with 2 companies before this for GLP1s that provided real person services. I think this place is a scam trying to turn a quick buck. At the end of the day, our health is at stake so it’s not to be taken lightly. I didn’t take shots of the last “messaging chat” but it was real stale as the text messages were. Scripted empathy is so damn frustrating.

Reading your review, it sounds like the biggest frustration wasn't just the delay—it was feeling like every interaction lacked the personal guidance you were looking for. When you're trying to understand the status of your prescription or ask questions about your care, it's important to have access to knowledgeable support and clear communication.
We appreciate you sharing your perspective. Your feedback reinforces the importance of responsive, human-centered support throughout the patient journey, and it's an area where we know trust is earned. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience.

Contacted this company for over a week…
Contacted this company for over a week before I was to leave on a vacation, asking the to please either ship it early or delay the shipping. Either would have been fine.
I had only gotten one vial, and safari was blocking the page so I didn’t see their was an update form I needed to fill out.
I received a response saying to fill it out then they would be able to help with the shipping. So I did. I then contacted them back a few days before I was going to leave because it was now showing to be shipped. Which it shouldn’t because I asked for it to be delayed.
I emailed, waited a day no response. So I then hop onto their online chat. I explain the situation, I am then told a copy and paste response that it takes 5-10 days for shipping. I asked nothing about shipping policy. I asked for the shipment to be delayed.
I don’t believe this was even a real person because the responses were so far off what I was asking.
I asked for a manager, I was told that they would send my request to them. Still have not heard back from them.
But sure enough my item was delivered today. A item that needs to be refrigerated. I am 8 hours away from home for another 5 days.
Icing on the cake is they respond to my original email well after I sent it, with just saying it had been delivered today. Absolutely no reading comprehension on what I emailed them regarding the inability for me to get the package.
I have yet to hear from a supervisor/manager and now have $80 in useless product because a simple request couldn’t be honored.
Response to their response:
They still refuse a refund. They admit that I had given them ample time to do what was requested, yet all they do is reiterate back what you say without actually doing anything. Hence they just use AI to respond. I have file a chargeback, as well as a complaint against the company with my bank, Ohio attorney general, Minnesota attorney general, FDA, Ohio pharmacy board, Texas pharmacy board. You may not think anyone can touch you but I sure as well will do my best to make sure you are investigated.

We're sorry to hear your experience turned out this way.
Reading your review, it sounds like the most frustrating part wasn't the shipment itself—it was that you reached out well in advance with a simple request to either ship early or delay delivery, yet your concern never seemed to be addressed. We understand why receiving generic responses that didn't answer your question, followed by the medication arriving while you were away, would leave you feeling unheard and disappointed.
We appreciate you taking the time to explain exactly what happened. Your feedback highlights the importance of carefully reviewing patient requests and providing responses that address the specific situation rather than relying on standard messaging. Thank you for bringing this experience to our attention.

Ordered a week ago- NOTHING
Ordered a week ago, haven't heard a word. Have reached out to customer service, got an auto-generated email back basically saying to be patient. Emailed again with a little more urgency, still nothing. I've cancelled and asked for my money back... fingers crossed I wasn't scammed
Edit: currently on hold trying to get a refund. It’s been 33 minutes so far.
Edit: a refund has been started after 55 minutes.

It's completely understandable that you feel this way after a week of silence and unhelpful responses. We deeply regret that you've had to cancel and request a refund.

Takes too long to ship
It's been 2 weeks since I signed up and had my video call. They sent me the tracking number 3 days ago, but it still hasn't left the facility. I leave on a business trip in 5 days and will be gone for a week. I have very little hope at this point that it will arrive before I leave. And since this medication needs to be refridgerated, it will be ruined by the heat sitting on my front porch for a week while I'm gone. $400 down the drain because these guys can't ship this stuff. They say 3-5 days, but all totaled it will probably be closer to 3 weeks by the time I get my shipment.
Response from EmbodyAug 18, 2026
We understand why you're concerned, especially with travel coming up. Receiving a tracking number without movement for several days, combined with the possibility of a temperature-sensitive medication arriving while you're away, would understandably be frustrating.
We appreciate you sharing these details. Your feedback highlights the importance of setting accurate expectations for fulfillment and keeping patients informed throughout the shipping process. We hope the status of your shipment can be clarified and addressed as quickly as possible.

Horrible patient experience
I signed up for Embody on 8/3/26. It took a week to find out I needed to meet with a provider. Once I was aware, it took a week to even be able to schedule an appointment. The online appointment scheduler site wasn’t working and every time I spoke with a support specialist I got a different answer. My appt was scheduled, no appt was actually scheduled, they couldn’t schedule an appt, they couldn’t access the system, they escalated for someone to call me, they aren’t able to send appt confirmation for call appts and just keep calling if no one calls me…despite every time I call it’s well over an hour wait. All while never receiving an appt confirmation nor a phone call.
I was finally able to schedule my own appointment and actually received a confirmation for 8/17. The confirmation noted I would need to join a link. I received several reminders of this as well and it was reflected on my dashboard. I joined the link a few mins early and no provider ever joined. I engaged chat support and they told me the provider would call instead of join the link, noting the appointment had been changed. I asked when and why I wasn’t notified, and the specialists just said some providers do that. Either way, I also never received a call. To top it off, the dashboard now says I missed the appointment…a lie! I have screenshots to prove I was on the call and communicated with chat while waiting. I also never received a call from anyone.
Embody has already charged me for medications they are making zero effort to actually send. I’ve spent countless hours chasing down appointments and support. As a customer I should not have to do this. If I am required to meet with a provider I should not have been charged until fully approved. If I am required to schedule an appt, then that should be seamless and easy to do via the scheduler link sent, and at a minimum by a support specialist. If I schedule an appointment, how I can expect that appointment to be conducted, web link or phone call, should be accurate per every confirmation I receive. If I make myself available for my scheduled appointment, the provider should show up or call. Why am I having to chase Embody down to provide a service they are literally in business to offer?
Given the horrible patient experience and disorganization of their business, I have cancelled my subscription, which actually never even started. I was on hold for over an hour to get a refund issued. The specialist stated she was having some trouble initiating the refund with the tools on her side and was trying to obtain assistance. This refund was finally initiated, which I can expect in 5-10 business days. I am supposed to receive an email confirmation of the refund being initiated and when it’s complete. I have yet to receive confirmation of the refund being initiated. I will dispute the charge if I don’t see a refund within the timeframe noted.
As someone in a leadership role of operations, systems, and lean ways of working, they really need better oversight and management of their operations, systems, and training. There is zero reason for there to be this many failures this early on in their process. I hope others do not have the same experience I had. If so, they’re likely losing a lot of money as a result, and could be way more profitable than they are. I truly hope their operations improve so people can get these medications at the more affordable rates they offer. I guess you get what you pay for.

Reading through your timeline, it's clear the biggest frustration wasn't one isolated issue—it was the number of breakdowns at nearly every step. From difficulties scheduling your provider appointment, to conflicting instructions about whether it would be a phone or video visit, to being marked as a "no-show" despite joining on time and waiting, we understand why you ultimately lost confidence in the process.
We're glad your refund request was ultimately processed, but we recognize that it came only after a significant investment of your time and effort. Your feedback provides valuable insight into where our scheduling, communication, and patient support processes need to improve, and we appreciate you taking the time to document your experience so thoroughly.
