I ordered on August 6th. No contact from anyone. When I reached out to them the told me I had to schedule a video meeting. This was the first time I heard this. So we scheduled a video meeting for today. 8/18. I logged in according to the instructions and no one answered. Finally got through on the customer help line and was told that my appointment had been cancelled. My portal page said I missed my appointment. I emailed them, no repknse then I received a message saying I have an appointment in two weeks. Will see how that goes. Not optimistic. But they certainly charged my credit card immediately upon the initial order.

We are truly sorry to hear about the incredibly frustrating and confusing experience you've had with your order and appointments. It's completely understandable how disheartening it is to face repeated communication breakdowns, missed video meetings, and conflicting information, especially after your payment was processed so quickly. We sincerely apologize for the lack of clarity and the inconvenience this has caused.

If I could send this giving 0-stars I…
If I could send this giving 0-stars I would, but at least 1 is required to post. After paying, there was no communication for a week. I then had a pleasant phone consultation and was told I would have my prescription with 5-7 business days. Sounded promising. After business day 8, I was told by their automated system my order cancelled - no explanation. I called and a rep said I didn’t answer an email which had delayed shipping. I never got an email and asked them to resend it. I asked what the email was about- she couldn’t tell me. The email never came. After 4 more days I was told my order was not cancelled but the pharmacy had processed my order and I was told to wait another 24-48hours for tracking info. After 3 more days, no tracking info. I called and the rep told me I wasn’t in their system, but then she put me on hold for 6minutes and came back and said I was sent an email the day prior that I didn’t respond to and that is causing my order to be delayed (but she said I wasn’t in their system system, right?) I checked my in box, spam, and junk mail-no email. I asked her to send the email again with me on the phone. Never came. She told me something was wrong with my email but I got confirmation quickly 20days ago when they took my payment. I also got an email to remind me of my virtual appointment. I have no email issues. She said okay, we don’t have a good address for you. I said it’s been in my patient portal. I asked, which problem is the story she wanted to stick to, email issue or address issue? She said I should wait another 24-48hours, she would update my account with the correct address- which was already there! I then demanded cancellation and a refund. DO NOT USE THEM. It’s a SCAM!!! (Waiting for my refund)

Reading through your timeline, it sounds like the most disappointing part wasn't the delay itself—it was receiving different explanations each time you contacted support. Being told your order was canceled, then that it wasn't, then hearing there were issues with your email, followed by questions about your address, would understandably leave you confused and frustrated, especially when you were unable to verify any of those explanations.
We appreciate you taking the time to document your experience in such detail. Your feedback highlights the importance of providing patients with accurate information and consistent communication throughout the order process. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention.

At Embody, apparently, showing up is optional!
If you're thinking about signing up, let me save you some time, frustration, and possibly your blood pressure… DON'T. My experience with Embody's customer service has been an absolute master class in how not to treat paying customers. I was scheduled to speak with one of their “providers” four separate times. You would think that after one missed appointment, a company that actually cared about its customers might figure out what went wrong. After two, you'd expect someone to intervene. After three, you'd probably assume management (if any exists) would finally notice. Nope. Four appointments. Four no-shows. Each time, I made myself available, rearranged my schedule, and was stupid enough to wait at least 30 minutes on their system for the session to begin. And each time, I was left sitting there, wondering whether the appointment would happen. I understand that things happen. “Providers” get sick. Emergencies occur. Technology fails. That's life. But when a company repeatedly schedules appointments and then can't even get its “providers” to show up, we're no longer talking about an occasional mistake. We're talking about a customer service problem. And this is supposed to be a healthcare company? If they can't reliably manage the basic task of having a “provider” show up at an agreed-upon time, I have to wonder what happens when you have an important question or need help with your treatment. At this point, I wouldn't trust them to reliably schedule a wake-up call, much less manage my healthcare. So, here's my advice to anyone considering Embody… STEER CLEAR! There are plenty of legitimate healthcare and weight-loss providers competing for your business. You shouldn’t have to beg a company to provide the service you've already paid for, repeatedly rearrange your schedule, or sit around waiting for a “provider” who apparently has more important things to do. Four scheduled calls. Four no-shows. That's not customer service. That's customer abandonment with an invite. If this is how they treat patients, I'll glad I’m taking my business and my expectations of basic professionalism somewhere else.

Reading your review, what stands out most isn't that one appointment was missed—it's that the same situation happened four separate times. We understand how frustrating it is to repeatedly rearrange your schedule, make yourself available, and wait for appointments that never take place. That's time you shouldn't have had to spend simply trying to access care.
We also recognize that after multiple unsuccessful appointments, you deserved more than another reschedule. Situations like this should be identified, reviewed, and addressed proactively rather than requiring you to continue starting over each time.
Your feedback is thoughtful and specific, and we appreciate you sharing it. It underscores how critical reliable scheduling, clear communication, and follow-through are to the patient experience. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention.

Unreliable… too many others to choose from.
Update: I cancelled. Super unreliable company. My first reorder is hugely delayed. I’m due for the injection. My money was taken immediately but it didn’t arrive on time for my dose. I finally reached out to see why shipping shows it hasn’t even shipped yet and was told 7-10 days. So irritated, they can’t be trusted. On top of my first experience with the shady pharmacy they use. Not worth it. Should have known from the get go I may have been dealing with a shady seller. Original review one month prior……..I’m concerned. I just joined Embody for Tirzepitide compound. My current Tirzepatide/NAD+/B12 prescription.
My current instructions are to inject 65 units once per week, and I am paying for a 12.5 mg weekly dose of Tirzepatide. However, looking at my vial, the listed concentration for the Tirzepatide is 17 mg/mL.
Based on a standard U-100 syringe, injecting 65 units (0.65 mL) from a 17 mg/mL vial provides 11.05 mg of Tirzepatide per week, rather than the 12.5 mg dose. To get a full 12.5 mg dose from this specific concentration, the math indicates the volume should be closer to 73.5 units (0.735 ) My second concern is where my medication came from. Boothwyn Pharmacy. The FDA issued a formal Warning Letter citing insanitary conditions, subpotent tirzepatide batches, and unverified product storage instructions (such as labeling the product to be frozen without stability data). Furthermore, the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy fined them $1 million for compounding GLP-1 medications in unauthorized, uninspected spaces.
Response from EmbodyAug 19, 2026
It's understandable that you would have questions after reviewing your prescription, calculating the concentration yourself, and researching the pharmacy that prepared your medication. Questions about dosage calculations, formulation, and the pharmacy involved are important and deserve clear, individualized answers from your care team.
Medication dosing is based on both the concentration of the compounded medication and the prescribed injection volume, so it's important that any questions about your prescription be reviewed directly by the prescribing provider rather than relying on assumptions. We also recognize that patients should feel comfortable asking questions about the pharmacy preparing their medication and discussing any concerns before moving forward with treatment.

Very Disappointing
Ordered tirzepatide and paid on day one and was notified same day that i was approved and would receive the order in 3 to 5 business days. 16 days later still not received and my embody provided dashboard indicates to be shipped. After repeated calls to their overseas answering service they just repeat what is on my dashboard and they say they will escalate but there is no escalation. When attempting to reach out to the pharmacy provider, their vm says closed during business hours.
Response from EmbodyAug 19, 2026
Being told to expect your medication within 3–5 business days and then still seeing your order listed as "To Be Shipped" more than two weeks later would understandably be frustrating. We also recognize how discouraging it is to repeatedly reach out for updates only to receive the same information without meaningful progress.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Your feedback highlights the importance of accurate fulfillment timelines, proactive communication, and ensuring patients have clear visibility into the status of their orders. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

Beyond frustrating
I had signed up to receive GLP one and my checking account has already been charged for three months supply… Yet I am yet to have an online appointment with a medical person. I was scheduled today at 2:15. I logged onto my computer at 2:10 logged on waiting for my appointment. They never showed up. I looked at my dashboard and noticed that it showed that I had missed my appointment which I did not. I called customer service. A person kindly sent me another link to login at 2:50 and am STILL WAITING for a doctor to appear it is now 3:30 my time (central time) and I’m still waiting for a doctor to appear on your website. Embody states that you are not charged until you have a doctors prescription to receive the medication yet I was charged. All the while I continue to receive text messages saying how excited they are regarding my upcoming appointment and to have all of my existing prescriptions available for the doctor to verify!!!!!!
I am stating to think we have been scammed!!!!
Response from EmbodyAug 19, 2026
Reading your review, it's clear how frustrating this has been. You made yourself available not once, but twice for your scheduled provider visit, waited well beyond the appointment times, and still never had the opportunity to meet with a clinician. To then see your dashboard indicate that you had "missed" the appointment would understandably be upsetting.
We also recognize your concerns regarding the timing of your payment and the conflicting messages you received while you were still trying to complete the provider visit. Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience in such detail. Your feedback highlights the importance of reliable scheduling, accurate appointment records, and clear communication throughout the onboarding process.

Complete ripoff
*UPDATE #2*
Well NOW I understand why my account was cancelled. Had my phone "appointment" with a "clinician" 5 minutes ago, 10 minutes late. Turns out their compound only goes up to 11.1mg and I am currently on 12.5. So she wanted to cancel of course because I would be going BACKWARDS. I had to explain the whole scam to this poor clinician and told her unfortunately she is now forced to send me a bottle of garbage I can't use. She apologized, but I told her it has nothing to do with her. Hopefully they will send this "medication" and I can have it tested to see if its worth anything. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
*UPDATE*
The company's response is a JOKE. I did "believe", as they put it, that my membership was paused. The disconnect was the fact that it was paused (NOT BY ME) by the provider PAST the time I needed a refill. As of today, I am being not only REFUSED a refund, but I am also being forced to go to ANOTHER provider appointment for absolutely no reason, as they already had a script that was PAUSED PER THEM. Makes zero sense. They should put customer satisfaction FIRST. Override their refund policy, send my money back, and cancel any further business with me. But no, I have to see another one of their "Drs" and be sent a vial of whatever garbage they will put in this after all the aggravation. I have contacted a local lab and will be taking the "medication" for independent testing and purity since its now useless to me. In the mean time, I have no meds, but found a MUCH more reputable company, and will now most likely miss a week of medication because of this. They made money off of MY money for less than a month and when I asked for a refund LESS than a month later due to their mistakes I am being refused. I will be back to follow up with the lab report. Should be interesting. Do better. Should've just refunded my money and parted ways. Disgusting way to treat patients.
Complete ripoff, avoid at ALL costs. I signed up 7/20/26, they immediately took my $129. I was HONEST with the teledoc and said I still had 3 vials of Zepbound left. She "paused" my subscription until 8/15, or so I thought. Called today, 8/18/26 to find out when my meds were coming because I am out. Turns out they CANCELLED me with no notice, no refund, no explanation at all. Had I not called, they would've just stole my $129. Now I had to go back to Lilly and pay $449 so I don't miss a shot due to their incompetence. Also CS is not in the US of course so the lady's English was atrocious. DO.NOT.USE.THIS.COMPANY.
Response from EmbodyAug 19, 2026
Reading your review, it sounds like the most frustrating part was believing your subscription had simply been paused, only to later discover it had been canceled without your knowledge. We understand why that would be especially concerning when you're relying on ongoing treatment and trying to avoid missing a scheduled dose.
We appreciate you taking the time to explain what happened. Your feedback highlights the importance of clearly communicating any changes to a patient's account status and ensuring patients understand what to expect before interruptions to their treatment occur. Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention.
