I don’t want to make excuses or give you another generic response. We’d like to look into your order and find out exactly what happened. Embody is a SCAM
This company, as far as I can see, is a SCAM! I signed up and was told I needed to complete a telehealth appointment with a physician before I could receive the product. I tried multiple times to speak to someone, with confirmed appointment times, and no one showed. Then, when I tried to cancel and get a refund, I was told they could not provide a refund because I needed to first get denied by a physician before they would refund me my money. I have never received any product. I have never spoken with a physician. I filed a dispute with my bank. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I will continue to leave poor reviews. STAY FAR, FAR, FAR away from this company!! (Additional cons, very difficult to get anyone on the phone, chat is typically unavailable, it takes 24+hrs to get responses to emails). An absolute joke/scam of a company!!

Hi Amy, we are truly sorry to hear about the incredibly frustrating experience you've had. It's clear that the process, from attempting to complete your telehealth appointment to seeking a refund, has been confusing and unhelpful. We understand how disheartening it is to have confirmed appointments where no one shows up, and then to be told a refund is contingent on a physician denial when you haven't even spoken to one. Your feedback highlights significant issues with our scheduling, communication, and refund processes.

Company is a scam…
I was supposed to have an appointment today 8/21/26 at 5:10 pm. I picked this time due to my work schedule I get off work at 5pm. I get a text message and email stating my appointment was at 4:10pm and that I have missed my appointment and to go to my portal and to reschedule. Which mind you they are booked all the way till end of September. I chatted with someone and they told me that the provider would call me, didn't get a call. So I called customer service spoke with a lady and she stated she would turn in a ticket and asked when would be a good time to call me? I said 6pm. Still did not get a call. So now I have emailed this company for a refund and so far I have not gotten a response. I don't know what kind of system/company they are running but it's not right and it feels like a scam.

I’m really sorry you had to go through all of this. I totally understand why you’re upset. You made time for your appointment after work, only to receive conflicting information about the appointment time, and then you were left waiting for a call that never came. Having to reach out again just to get an update shouldn’t have happened.
I’m also sorry that you haven’t received a response about your refund. We’d like to look into this personally and see what happened so we can get you a clear answer.

I have to wait almost 2 weeks to…
I have to wait almost 2 weeks to receive my medication. Last dose was 8/8 /2026. I just received the medication today 8/21/2026. The Doctor said I’m supposed to take 7.5 mg the label on the prescription says 50 units I don’t know if 50 units equals 7.5 mg.

We're really sorry you had to wait that long to get your medication order. It is definitely not the experience we want anyone to have. We want to make sure you feel confident and safe with your medication, I hope you give us a chance to work with you on this concern.

Terrible customer service
I filled out the initial intake for Semaglutide & was told that I must meet with their healthcare provider before moving forward. I did a video call with their provider and we agreed that Terzepatide would be the better choice for me & she made a note in my patient file. I had to get clearance from my general practitioner, as well. When I uploaded the clearance letter from my GP, I also sent a note reminding them that I should be sent Terzepatide & not Semaglutide.
I got nothing from them for a couple of weeks, so I reached out. They apologized for the delay & assured me that the correct medication would be shipped shortly. I finally got notification that the order for Semaglutide was being processed. I immediately called and spent a long time on the phone TWICE explaining that I should not be getting Semaglutide, but should be getting Terzepatide. They even looked in my patient file and saw that Terzepatide was what had been prescribed. They told me the Semaglutide would be canceled and I would be refunded, then the order placed for the Terzepatide.
A week later, I get 2 packages in the mail on the same day - one containing Semaglutide and the other containing Terzepatide. Again, I call and explain that I cannot even use Semaglutide as it's not been prescribed to me, it was supposed to be cancelled as it was ordered by their error, and I'm due a refund. It has been several weeks, countless phone calls, and numerous emails. They've still not refunded my money and they've basically saying I have the medication so I have to pay for it - even though it's not the correct medication and I can't use it.
This company is terrible. I had such high hopes, but I've yet to have a positive encounter. It's also scary that they are mailing out incorrect medications and not really caring. Steer clear and find a different provider.

We’re truly sorry for what you went through. It is indeed upsetting and frustrating to receive the wrong medication, then have difficulty getting the issue resolved and your refund completed. This is not the experience we want anyone to have, and we take your concerns seriously. We’re reviewing what happened on our end so we can learn from it and make sure we do better moving forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

So the first initial visit was great
So the first initial visit was great. I got my medication promptly in four days. However, it is LOWER than the FDA recommended first dose. So I asked after a month to have my dose increased because I had zero symptoms or complications. They approved. Yet my medication was never shipped out and now I’ve talked to TWO providers that said it would be sent straight to the pharmacy and now I can’t see anything in my portal and I’m supposed to have my 5th injection tomorrow. Nobody ever answers their phone and when they do they tell me they have to schedule me with a provider because they can’t access my account. Then the provider said she couldn’t even see where I had an initial prescription. I don’t know what the deal is here but I want what I paid for.

Their stuff does not work save your money use a different company. I thought it was saving money, but you get what you pay for and even though they say they give you 100% money back guarantee that is a bunch of crap they lied on their website! They do not stand behind their products whatsoever!
Response from EmbodyAug 24, 2026

I have used GLPs from multiple online…
I have used GLPs from multiple online providers and Embody was by far the WORSy second order took 3 weeks to arrive, during which time I was out of product and regained the weight I had lost. The telehealth provider also told me she was going to increase my dosage but did not.I strongly urge anyone who might be considering using this company not to waste your time or your money. There are many companies out there who do a much better job.
Response from EmbodyAug 21, 2026
I’m truly sorry you had this experience. Being without your medication for three weeks, especially after making progress, must have been incredibly frustrating. I also understand how disappointing it must have been to be told your dosage would be increased and then find that it wasn’t. You put your trust in us to provide reliable care and communication, and we fell short of that. I’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened and see how we can make this right.
