Making a switch
I am currently using a glp1 with another company. I wanted to switch to embody for a lesser price, save some $$. I started the process September 4 2026. Submitted my documents. September 11th I call them to findout whats going on with my account they said somethings wrong with a document. So I asked why couldn't they email me or message the portal and tell me. I had to wait 7 days and call yall? Well long story short I canceled because they told me its was going to be another potential 2+weeks to get the meds. Mind you the website states they will start processing within 24hrs I waited a full 7 days with nothing done. Then after all that, and almost 2hrs on the phone about it to hear nothing but "we are sorry" I hangup. 1 hour later I get an email stating I've been approved all the sudden (the lady told me it would be another 24/48 hrs before I got an email) and the dose was 0.2 at 5units where as I'm taking 2.5 at 28 units so these meds are worthless. They just hurried and sent that because i told them I filed a dispute. At the beginning you fill out an intake form to let them know everything and apparently they don't read or care about a patient. Im not sure how the process goes when you want to START these meds but if you plan to transafer from one company to these guys I would not chance it. They will ruin your cycle. Now here's the really bad part. They charge you before they approve you for anything weather your eligible for these meds or not and if you decide to cancel because they are taking too long (the site says 24hrs, I waited 7 days and still had to wait another 4 days or more they said)..they will cancel your account but they will not refund you. So now I'm dealing with the credit card company for a dispute to get my money back. This has been a headache. I wouldn't recommend switching from one company to another because the process to switch to embody is not smooth. I should have just stayed where I am now. Thankfully I was able to pause and un-pause my meds other wise I'd be dealing with more BS than I'd want too. GOODLUCK.

We’re sorry that your attempt to switch to Embody became such a frustrating experience. We understand how disappointing it was to wait seven days without an update, spend nearly two hours trying to get answers, and then receive information that you felt didn’t align with what you had provided during intake. We also understand your concerns about the difference between the dose you were currently taking and what was prescribed, as well as your frustration with the lack of communication throughout the process. We’re very sorry that the delays and communication issues ultimately led you to cancel and pursue a dispute. We appreciate you sharing such detailed feedback—it highlights areas where we need to improve the enrollment process, communication, and transparency around timelines and billing. - Embody Team
