I am a bit embarrassed
I am a bit embarrassed, I am a skeptical person, and the first time I saw someone mention them on Reddit, I thought their service was too good to be true so it must be a scam. I work in HR and am pretty old school. I haven’t seen anything like this, so I was pretty quick to judge. I actually got laid off after my company got acquired, and one of my best friends of 15 years also got laid off from his company a few months ago, We ended up chatting on the phone, and he told me he recently got hired with the help of jobsolv. He recommended that I check it out, and I told him that he had been scammed. Anyway, 3 months later, my buddy is working his new job, and I am still unemployed and struggling to get any quality interviews. Look, I can land an interview, but the amount of time that goes into a job search is a full-time job, and the constant rejections are mentally getting me down. I called my friend up, asking him what service he paid for, and he walked me through what they did for him. It’s pretty simple. They apply to targeted jobs at scale. It’s all human-managed. They have an intake form that asks all that you want for your next job, and they will help you with a reality check with the current expectations. This is good or bad, if you have been underpaid, they will coach and help you apply to higher-paying roles. Now if you have like 3 years of experience and want a $150K job, they will also let you know that’s not possible. I am on week 2 of my job search with the career manager, and I have 2 quality interviews lined up for next week. I would say that if you value your time and want results within a month instead of 6 months, this is hands down the best career service I have paid for.
