Scam, Spam, Bam!
I never contacted them. I never reached out to them. Somehow they scraped my email address and I've been getting unwanted emails weekly from them. Unsubscribing doesn't even work.

I don't think that many of the jobs listed on Jobot are legit. I have had several automated interviews for senior management positions that I am qualified for. My most recent job was almost line for line the job description that was sent to my email this past week. I applied and received "Congratulations Instant Interview." I did the automated interview and received the usual 'if you are a fit the recruiter will be in contact with you.' I have not received one single follow up from the recruiter and again my most recent experience was nearly line for line the job description. There are "jobs" that are being sent to my email that have been posted for nearly 4 months. In 4 months a supposed recruitment firm hasn't been able to fill an entry level campaign manager position? I am backing away from Jobot. I would not recommend this automated recruiting firm to any senior level managers or executives seeking a job change our time is valuable and Jobot is a waste of time.

I was in the middle of the interview and it suddenly cut me off. Stop relying on AI and use a real person!

I applied for a job on LinkedIn in and in less than a minute, received a text that I was going to get a call. My phone marked the call as spam immediately. I got another text saying "sorry we missed you". You didn't look at my resume, your AI looked at keywords. Stop using AI and bring back actual human beings please.

I was actually able to secure a job through Jobot fairly quickly. During a family trip to California, I even happened to pass by their office in Newport Beach by chance—it’s right on the water. I remember taking a picture and proudly telling my family that this was the company that had placed me. After searching for over six months, I was genuinely grateful for the opportunity. I was officially hired on my birthday, March 3, 2026, which made the experience even more exciting. Jobot found me a medical assistant position that aligned well with my prior experience. The role was presented as an 800-hour contract in an orthopedic office, and when I discussed compensation, my recruiter, Bryan, was able to meet my expectations. That was both reassuring and encouraging. I started the position on March 16, was still in my training period, but was unexpectedly let go on April 14 without any prior warning. At the end of that day, Bryan called to inform me that I was not considered a “good fit.” He mentioned that he would follow up with more information, but I have not heard back from him since. I can’t help but wonder if this lack of communication is related to a Yelp review I posted about the orthopedic office. Although Bryan did briefly mention that he had other opportunities and would reach out by Friday the 17th, I never received any follow-up. Regardless of the reason, I believe a more professional approach from both the agency and the employer would have been to maintain clear communication, provide feedback, and keep me informed throughout the process. Even if a company decides to end a contract, transparency and basic courtesy should not be overlooked.

do you like talking to the automated phone attendant, well her is is but its from the 80s, takes 3-5 mins per response, the voice is sloooow like its done some lean. these companies need to be banned for the massive ai spamming that exists, theres nothing here but some teenagers saying hr mommy, look what i did.

The Jobot Virtual recruiter has contacted me multiple times about an opportunity. I set up an appointment to discuss the positions being recruited for, only to have the virtual recruiter be a no-show. This makes me reluctant to use Jobot for ANY opportunity. This website/jobsite performance is not professional at all.

It's actually impressive how unprofessional jobot can make itself. As an applicant, before you are even started on any real process, you get prescreened by an ai the quality of 2015 siri. It constantly cuts you off, then leaves you hanging, based entirely on what it "thinks" is an appropriate amount of time. Then, if they deign you worthy of being talked to by a human being, they MIGHT call you. Think of how this would go if you actually contracted or worked for them? Harassment or abuse - Go through this ai bot that doesn't really even listen to the problem, just gives vague statements. If I weren't going for a direct hire through them, I'd have told the bot to automatically remove me from consideration. If you then talk to a human being, they are disrespectful, and just try to push you through the door one way or another. It's clear they are a "quantity over quality" recruiter, and I would not recommend them as a job platform for candidates or employers.
