Jerry is supposed to show you insurance quotes. However, after entering all of your personal information the last page says you must download their app to see quotes! They are just collecting your information. Avoid.

I needed a new insurance company because my policy was too high with State Farm so I got a quote from Jerry. They quoted a much lower price with Assurance America ($144/month with $266 to get started). I agreed to the policy and put my card info in but the policy wasn't activated until I signed the agreement. I looked at the fine print in the contract and they had me on auto payments, which I didn't want and I didn't sign. I texted the rep, told them that I wasn't aware of the auto payments, and asked them to remove the auto pay. They said it would be an additional $45. I agreed because I needed insurance. They came back and said there would be an additional $5.50 to process my additional payment - which they could have said earlier. I agreed again because I needed insurance. The next day the new contract didn't come so I followed up by text. The rep said my policy is pending cancellation due to unsigned docs and they can't be edited once generated. This was the exact opposite of what they said the day before. I told them they had to either provide me with insurance or refund my money since they charged me multiple times. The rep then said it couldn't be done. I decided to sleep on it and report it to the insurance commissioner the next day. The next day I got a text from the same number saying that they could in fact edit the docs and all I had to do was sign. At that point, I didn't trust the company and decided to get my policy from somewhere else. I canceled the policy and requested a refund. Today, the rep said they're refunding me $161.82 of my original $311 payment. I never signed the docs or had an active policy with them and they took half of my money. This company is a criminal organization and I have contacted the GA Insurance Commissioner. I would highly recommend NOT doing business with them.

I wasted my time!!!!!!!!! I spent around 10-15 minutes filling in all the blanks. What did I get for my trouble? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! It's a giant scam. In order to get your quotes, you MUST download their app! Why do they do things this way? It's simple: 1.) They track you. 2.) They sell this info and any other information that they can glean off your personal profile. 3.) Once you have the app, they will ply you with endless commercials and try to get you to pay for the add-free version of their app ... this is what everyone does nowadays. Personally, I don't like being lied to. (If you watch their television commercials, they say that the quotes are free.) AVOID!!!!!!
