Not all the roles are real.
Response from Jennie JohnsonMar 25, 2024
I'd love to know which jobs are not real. We work very hard to source jobs only from reputable sources such as directly from careers pages or well known job boards. I'll follow up with an email.

I like the tool, but I found a handful of jobs I was interested in, no longer accepting applications.
Response from Jennie JohnsonMar 25, 2024
I'm sorry to hear that. We're working hard to cut out those expired jobs, but in the meantime we have found that even if the job says expired on Linkedin, they are still taking applications through their career page or elsewhere. We put a link at the bottom of our job pages (found through the Resume/Job Report link under each job) where you can find other ways to apply.

I find half the links that are interesting to be to no longer be accepting applicants. Most of the time it's LinkedIn job posts but I've seen this happen for other sites too.
Response from Jennie JohnsonMar 22, 2024
Thanks for that feedback. We are aware that many posts on Linkedin are being taken down very quickly. We're currently working on a more real-time system of updating the jobs to ensure that you are not sent to one that is no longer accepting applications.
Lawrence
Many of the job postings are expired and no longer accepting applications or they are weeks from seeing the postings already on LinkedIn or Indeed.

I am aware that this has been an issue recently, employers taking down the listing before you can apply to it. We're currently working on a system to update the listings in real time so that this experience is minimized. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Charles
I like the listing everyday however I would prefer more job openings that are more aligned to my skillset

Thanks for the feedback. We can take a look at your profile and modify it to better target the roles you would like to land.

I like the daily emails. I would like to be able to update the type of jobs that are being sent to me.
Response from Jennie JohnsonFeb 26, 2024
Thank you for sharing your issue, I'm happy to help resolve that. You can easily update your profile though a link in our emails to ensure that you get jobs targeted precisely to what you are looking for. I'll shoot you an email to explain in more detail.

I personally have not had options that fit what I was looking for. All have been based off of my most recent title, not what I’m actually wanting to do in my next role.
Response from Jennie JohnsonFeb 28, 2024
Thanks for letting us know, I'll reach out via email to work with you on better targeting for what you are looking for in your next career step.

Most jobs are not real. This is the fault of the employers and their HR dept for not keeping job postings current
Response from Jennie JohnsonFeb 28, 2024
Stephen, I appreciate you sharing that, I'll be reaching out via email to get more details. Any sources that are hosting fake jobs we will cut out immediately. We're also working diligently to ensure that if an employer takes down a listing, we don't suggest it to users.
