I was very concerned about having enough income to last my entire life. Having the Lifetime Income Rider on the Security Benefit Annuity has made all the difference in my confidence to retire with peace of mind. I just passed my first year with one of my 2 Security Benefit Annuities and reviewed the status on their website. I could find no reference to the Lifetime Income amount at all. I received a statement in the mail and the information was on that document. I was surprised by the 1% administration fee thus reducing the annuity interest amount from 3% to 2%. That seems excessive. However, since it doesn't affect my Lifetime Income value I "guess" it doesn't really matter much. I would acquire these annuities again if I had it to do over and I look forward to taking the Lifetime Income amount in a few years when it will be the appropriate time. Art Hatfield-Mihelic

I haven't recieved any benefits yet, but my experience in purchasing my annuity was very nice. The people I dealt with were kind and considerate. If and when I need to use it, I hope my feelings stay the same. I do wish my funds were done on a monthly basis and not yearly, but I'm sure that is why it works the way it does.

I went into this transaction knowing exactly what I wanted and they delivered. I purchased a Hybrid Annuity (Security Benefit), lifetime rider with 8% sign-up bonus and 7% compound annually on the 'Benefit/Income account'. Only one criticism that I have is the website to access my account. It doesn't contain enough user control to modify/change certain things. Mine only allows me to change my address and that's it. I wanted to add a third beneficiary online but do not have the ability. I should also have the ability, when it's the right time, to change my investment options, currently set to S&P 500 index annually applied but should I want a mix at the end of the year I should be able to change/select by myself. Lastly, I should be able to track my monthly Principal account balance based on the index even though my account is locked to an annual payout. Statistical data is always helpful for future decision making.

We still have not received our corrected profile that we were suppose to receive when we purchased the anuity several months ago. It was supposed to have been sent w/ our contract. We were suppose to get it back in January. Please send it. Also, could you send me a link where I can tract the current performance of our anuity. Thank You. Current videos are informative but very general . Need specific examples of success stories
