JamPlay.comReviews of jamplay.com

I am a new to guitar and have learned so much in a very short time. There are many great instructors and finding matches to my learning styles and music tastes has been easy. The best thing about jamplay is the convenience of being able to get instruction at any time of the day and at home. I also like the live chat sessions with the instructors and other jamplay members. I am just finishing up on phase one for beginners and am looking forward to progressing to phase two and beyond now that I have a solid grounding in guitar basics.

I had done guitar lessons for a few years earlier and was never motivated and didnt learn very much because of that. One month on Jamplay the I was better then the 3 years of lessons. Thats not to say this site is magic, there is no easy way to learning the guitar. But the resources and community of Jamplay make it fun to learn and progress. In my opinion the Jamchat alone is almost worth the price of admission. You really feel that the journey is in your own hands and you can go down any path you feel.

I've been trying to learn guitar for just about three years now and I'm not the best. I'm in college doing a HNC in music performance and with that I have regular guitar lessons, and it helped me form a band. In college I've had two guitar tutors and I feel like with a few lessons on jamplay, I'm learning more than I ever have with them (it's safe to say I'm learning more with it than when I was self taught too x3). To me, this is a great resource for learning guitar and for brushing up on skills. It works for anyone whether you're a beginner that's never picked up a guitar, or someone like me who just needed improving in many aspects. I'd most certainly recommend jamplay to anyone trying to learn guitar and I'm definitely going to keep using it myself. Let's see how far this year's subscription can take me!

This is an awesome program! I love it so many great guitarists and styles of music to learn to play! I am hooked.

After spending years just picking up this or that via free tablature and not really having any specific purpose or direction, but really wanting to get better, I stumbled across a review of this JamPlay.com website. There was a post by an older gentlemen who had been frustrated for years, and signed up with JamPlay and it has only gotten better for him. I saw the demo videos and had to try it myself. I am NOT disappointed and have been practicing more than I have in a while since I am back to enjoy learning my instrument and loving it again. If you want to learn as a complete beginner, are stuck in a spot like I was or just need some new material to spark your passion again, learn with Jamplay, and even offer advice in the forums for those that have a desire to know what you may know and help the community grow. All I will say is you gotta at least try it. Seriously.

Jamplay provides more fresh material than you can keep up with. The variety of tools that are provided to help you along you way is its success. Jamplay, keep driving for excellence!

If you want go from being the average guitarist or bassist and rise to a level of professional or near professional in the shortest possible time, then JamPlay ought to be at or near the top of your short list of resources to accomplish that lofty goal. All the resources that a guitarist or bassist would need is in one place! Bite-size lessons are there on technique and style, and if you really don't understand something, just ask a live teacher! One-on-one instruction at a time when YOU need it for pennies a day is as good as it gets!

In two months time, I've learned to play three full songs. The lessons are easy to follow and the teachers seem to really enjoy what they are doing. I had raised a concern about the number of new lessons and a member of the team was very responsive to my needs. I now understand that new lessons are added frequently.
