I've had ethiopian harrar before and this isn't the usual taste. The bean is a bit larger than usual and the bean has not been roasted like I prefer. It isn't dark or oily, that's what I prefer. Thanks for asking😀

Hi Susan - Sorry for your experience, our Ethiopians are consistently roasted at a medium roast so you should never see dark and oily on our Ethiopian beans. That would be more indicative of a darker roast.
