Not worth the money—no such thing as first class on this train!
I paid over $300 for a “first class seat” that was far from first class and had LIMITED LUGGAGE SPACE AND LIMITED FOOD AMD DRINK. Probably the worst experience on a train. I will not use this service ever again. And the staff were incredibly rude and non helpful to me and my 80 year old mother. Worst experience

While we're an international ticketing partner for the Italian national railway, unfortunately we don't have any control over operations. First class travel on the railway includes larger seats, an optional quiet zone, and a welcome drink and snack. Luggage storage is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it can happen that when trains are full, luggage storage space can be limited since the luggage racks for large suitcases are shared with other passengers. If you're looking for a fully catered meal service on board, you can purchase a VIP/executive class ticket, which also includes wider fully reclining leather seat and dedicated luggage storage space.
