It just amazing to stay in the beautiful house in Castellammara del Golfo (Edera). Easy collection of the key by Mr. Curto and very good service from Chiara all the week, handling boat trips, telling us about the area and recommend places to visit. The view from the house is stunning overlooking the city and sea - nice pool for refreshing during the hot days. Not the last time we rent, and will definitely come back. The absolutely best recommendations from us.

la vue est superbe, la piscine au top. cependant il est difficile de se déplacer à pied dans la ville donc prévoir une voiture. le studio est sympa cependant il manque quelques équipements pour un séjour d’une semaine complète. et il y a beaucoup de fourmis c’est dommage… alors qu’on faisait hyper attention à ne rien laisser traîner. de plus, la climatisation est payante !!! ce n’est pas compris dans le prix alors qu’il fait une grosse chaleur en sicile. prévoir également les taxes de séjour en plus.

Good evening dear customer, In reference to what you reported regarding your stay at the Melograno apartment, we are obliged to contradict what you reported: Regarding the presence of ants, it should be noted that the structure is surrounded by a garden, where it is normal that there could be some ants. Since the veranda overlooks the garden, it is normal that if the guests leaves food or scraps, ants are attracted by it. It would have been appropriate to point this out immediately on site, so that the staff could provide you with insecticide and assistance. Furthermore, it is well known and therefore required by law, that the guests who stays in a tourist residence must pay the tourist tax, which is forwarded to the municipality. In fact, the regular receipt from the municipality of Castellammare del Golfo was delivered to you during your stay by the staff. It should be underlined that in the specifications related to the services of the structure, the payment of air conditioning on consumption was indicated, the guests did not in fact have any expense in this regard. Your rating does not correspond to the ratings given by all customers who have stayed at Melograno over the years, therefore we still thank you for leaving this review but but we consider your report to be irrelevant. We booked this accommodation for our honeymoon so that we could enjoy some privacy, which we got 100%. When we had questions or concerns, we were helped courteously. We had problems renting a car from Germany and we were helped there too and we had a car the next day. Here, too, we were helped immediately. The Melograno is small but nice and offers a fantastic view of the sea and the nearby town. The owners gave us a really warm welcome and we were given a cute little welcome basket (pasta, sauces, pesto, coffee capsules, cornflakes,milk,water and also a bottle of wine). The pool is a dream and, like the accommodation, very clean (cleaned twice a week). The atmosphere of the complex is very Mediterranean and very cutely decorated and it is the little details that make everything even more beautiful. We recommend a car if you want to visit beautiful beaches like Mondello Beach or San Vito Lo Capo. we can highly recommend this accommodation if you are in Sicily.
