I’m a tutor for a couple kids all using IREADY. I don’t know if the teachers are being forced to enforce this but this has got to be the worst tool and platform for educational development. I find myself having to teach the kids subjects they didn’t learn at school. Their teachers are no longer teaching, and their homework is worded so odd. Nothing will be understandable or learnable for these kids if they continue using a platform like this. If I was a parent I would vocally refuse to allow my child to do this. You have the right to refuse participation with your school. As someone that works with your kids, refuse iready!!

Hate it.
I hate this app. It always takes so long for the voices to talk, and there is no way for me to make it hurry up, i dont get any help from it, and it doesn't teach me anything. I've been having to do I-Ready for 4 years now, and at this point, I've learned NOTHING from it.

Hi I am here to inform you about your…
Hi I am here to inform you about your horrible learning app I am so sorry to tell you that it is bad but I am sorry I hate it so much nobody in my class likes it was not good because I will tell you all the reasons why it should be different and describe them in detail so you know what to do to save the app and please fix it so let me start off with why is it so bad so I will explain. ok so i-Ready has become a staple in modern classrooms, yet its implementation often feels more like a burden than a benefit for students and teachers alike. One of the most glaring issues is the repetitive nature of the lessons, which can quickly lead to student burnout and a lack of genuine interest in the subject matter. When children are forced to sit in front of a screen for hours, the joy of learning is often replaced by a mechanical desire to simply "finish" the task.Furthermore, the diagnostic tests are frequently criticized for being overly long and stressful, sometimes failing to accurately reflect a student's true potential due to "testing fatigue." Teachers also find themselves stuck in a cycle of data-tracking rather than engaging in hands-on instruction, making the classroom feel more like a data factory than a place of inspiration. The program's algorithm can also be unforgiving; if a student makes a simple mistake, they might be forced to repeat an entire section they already understand, leading to intense frustration.Ultimately, while the intent behind i-Ready is to personalize learning, it often results in a one-size-fits-all digital experience that lacks the empathy and adaptability of a human educator. Education should be about sparking curiosity and critical thinking, but relying too heavily on automated software risks turning students into passive participants in their own schooling. By prioritizing screen time over social interaction and creative problem-solving, we may be doing more harm than good to the development of young minds.

Pure garbage 😔🙏🗑️
Might be the worst educational application ever made. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Picture this, it's a cold Monday morning and you are pulling up to school. You think, "Hey, at least we don't have state testing today." But to your very dismay, there it says on the agenda, "Diagnostic." Now, this "diagnostic" isn't just a 30 minute test, no, no. This is a 2 HOUR test. It has to be spread across multiple school days to finish. The little stupid video that you have to watch, you know, the one that says "Hi, my name is Vivi 🥳🤩💖✨" then you have to watch five 10 second clips demonstrating how to use each feature, even though 90% of the time NONE of them are used, even in the slightest. The test questions raise or decrease grade level expectancies depending on r/w answers, so if you get one right, the next is immediately 14 grade levels ahead, asking what a watermelon is composed of. I don't know what a watermelon is made of, I'm literally 7. Then, out of the blue, a brain break shows up. These used to be fun lighthearted games, but in the new Iready Pro application, these are replaced with stupid breathing meditation things. After the battle of the diagnostic, you get a single score, demonstrating every atomic cellular implication you have ever made inside of your brain, showing the forefront of your intelligence. These scores are assessed by the teachers, which ARENT ABLE TO SEE WHAT AREAS YOU DID WELL ON OR NOT. Its just a stupid, meaningless number. A number, in fact, that changes lesson difficulty. Don't even get me started on the lessons.

Honestly this app is worth 0 stars
Honestly this app is worth 0 stars. Me and my classmates hate it so do my teachers. This such waist of my time. The fact that this app is selling my personal info makes me cringe. My school spend hours a day on this app that doesn’t teach us anything. The lessons are so boring I literally fall asleep during the lessons and the games are RIGGED. I wish I could rate this a zero stars. This whole app makes every one feel stupid. P.S this was written by a 6 th grader
