NEVER BUY GIFT CARDS FOR IRACING IT IS A SCAM. Attempted to buy iRacing gift card. The transaction failed on the vendors end (iRacing and GiveX/Shift4) but my card got charged. IRacing sent me to GiveX to fix it, GiveX hasn't received the money so they were unable to help me. I needed to contact Worldline. This has been going on since 10th of September. Despite all the evidence, Worldline persists on making it hard to get my money back. This sure feels a lot like a scam, don't buy them.

you have to pay for everything in the game and it is very difficult to use the ui and you have to pay to make a race with your friends

I have more than 15 years experience with iracing. Technically it’s a very sophisticated and Professional Simulation and that is also the reason I stayed that Long with iracing and Had nearly every content in Road Racing. However what brought me to end that relationship was more and more capriciousness in their reporting and sanctioning System with Regard to malicious behaviour. Unfortunately They simply have Bad deciders. Especially in the last 3 years. In their Effort to ban crashers from the Network, which is basically fully understandable, they have developed judgement rules which are Not transparent and thus clear. Its Not the Fact that misjudgement can Happen. Its the consequences that they Connect with Those decisions, which also involve Account Suspension. The Real Bad thing about iracing is: if u want to quit iracing as i did, they dont refund the overpayment of your participation fee, which was quite substantial (approx. EUR 150,-) in my case arguing with their General terms and conditions. This is just theft in my Point of view and actually a shame for such Enterprise.

Frustrating. I only do AI racing as the online experience is a typical Internet s***show, but trying to keep up with the evolving platform is a nightmare. At the moment the UI hardly ever loads (it did a few days ago, but after the latest "fix" it doesn't anymore...), but what's worst is the fact that we're always swimming against the tide in terms of AI changes from one release to the next. Suddenly AI's pitstops are 13 seconds quicker than human players (!?), and suddenly they're also miles quicker. Because the AI is so inconsistent I've had to spend ages trying to hone the skill levels for each track individually, but suddenly the AI is running 1 second quicker than it was last week over a 19-second lap at Iowa! Trying to keep up with it is like swimming through dog poo...this is for a game that requires significant outlay as well.

am ending my long-term subscription to iRacing due to a fundamental breakdown in their stewarding system. While the physics are industry-leading, the 'protest' system has become a liability for paying members. Recently, I was issued a one-week ban for a '0x' (zero damage) incidental contact under yellow—an interaction that had no impact on the race. Conversely, when I reported a driver for a blatant, high-speed ram after the checkered flag, the stewards used my own footage to ban me for two weeks, claiming an 'overcorrection' from bounci g off the wall i was slammed into was retaliatory. As a customer, it feels less like a racing service and more like a legal minefield where your investment (cars/tracks) can be locked away on a whim by inconsistent moderation. I have moved my hobby budget to console-based alternatives like NASCAR 25. It offers 90% of the fun for 10% of the hassle and cost. If you value your time and money, be wary of the 'guilty until proven innocent' culture here.
