I have had one issue which I had to get some assistance with, Ipswitch professional worked me through the issue very quickly. Not that it was fun but the professional almost made it fun and it was enjoyable to learn something new.

While I like WUG, the support training and available training needs a great deal of improvement!

Tech Support = 0 Could not fix a polling problem. After tech support gave up on the problem, I ran the installer again and it worked. Upgrade from Major Versions = 0 Wasted over 40 hrs on 2017 upgrade only to roll back to 2016. Not sure I want to ever try 2018. Ten years ago I would have given it a 5. Questioning why we pay for support after the 2017 disaster.

B Freeman, thank you for your feedback and support of WhatsUp Gold throughout the years. I believe that our tech support group has been working diligently with you to help resolve your issues. I understand your hesitation to move to 2018, but I am confident you will find that it is a very stable platform. I would be happy to offer up assistance in migrating if you are interested. I also hope that we can regain your trust in the future.

There is a bug that's been affecting us for quite a while, whereby we get a flurry of 'false' down messages at seemingly random times. We've been talking with support and it's something that is known about but there is no fix yet. We're a small, rural hospital with limited staff, and the alarm fatigue is frankly getting to be DANGEROUS. It's really sad, since we've been running whatsup for several years now, with no real issues. But somehow they can't figure out how to fix this, and it's definitely a significant problem. Will be purchasing a different solution at next possible opportunity.
