It was a bit overwhelming to try and find housing for my internship when I did not live in NYC already. I initially looked at airbnb and craigslist but the prices were crazy and I really had no idea what to expect. I found Intrnz on google and ended up booking with them. The whole booking process was quite easy and all I needed to do was show up on check-in day and that was it. the rooms were pretty nice and I ended up meeting some good people too. Overall a great experience.

Reliable Rooms with a good location

Intrnz offered a convenient location for my summer internship in the Financial District, so I didn't have to take the metro to get to work—for this convenience alone, I would stay there. The guest check in process is not intuitive and can be very frustrating, though, so if you plan on having overnight guests, I'd suggest staying elsewhere, as the student residential staff was not very kind or helpful. The kitchen spaces were not ideal for cooking—small fridges and counter space, especially considering how many people were in the building, but the laundry facilities were very convenient. The room itself has really sqeaky mattresses, leading to a lot of tossing and turning—it's a dorm room with dorm amenities. If you have a choice for something else at a similar price point, stay there. That said, from friends' experiences at NYU housing in comparsion, PACE dorms through Intrnz was much more convenient. I was also able to get 10% of my booking back when I contacted Intrnz about a promotion they were running after I'd already paid in full.

I found INTERNZ to be an extremely useful place for me to live during my time working in the city. FiDi is a stunning place to live, and the building is well kept and comfortable to live in. The downside is without question the price. It's extremely expensive, and I would say could be agued not worth the price if you have options that are half as expensive. But INTERNZ was extremely accommodating and helpful when I needed a place in a pinch- which likely also cost me more than other residents. So I'm pleased with them. Overall- I would recommend!
