Interval InternationalReviews of intervalworld.com

choice of accommodation is awful. There is never any where to book for exchanges yet when you look at getaways all the accommodation is there to buy for extra money for them - its just a travel agent not fit for exchanges on timeshare. The exchanges which was its purpose are hardly available to book. awful experience

Reading all these reviews in some ways is a comfort I was beginning to wonder if it was just us,we have had a Marriott timeshare at Cypress Harbour Orlando over 30yrs we bought pre-construction and have been very happy with it going every year. We now wanted to sell as long haul is to much I am 78 and my husband has Parkinson’s so we went on the MARRIOTT sight which they say is to help you sell your Timeshare it said all the right things like they would give a fair price they were there to help blah blah blah and that is all it was,we rang them to organise selling the upshot was they would take it off our hands but would give us nothing not even $500 we mentioned the website and what we had read they ignored that and made some feeble excuse about it. We rang a lawyer familiar in timeshare sales his advise was this happens all the time just let them have it as it can end up costing a lot of money and stress trying to fight it (and that is something my husband can do without) and selling through another company can be filled with complications, so they got it for nothing I would STRONGLY advise people not to deal with MARRIOT they are not to be trusted, they will be all over you like a wet rash while trying to sell to you but when it comes to Helping you they are nowhere to be seen, so our two weeks ownership in Orlando Florida that they received for nothing will be currently being sold as part of their stock for around $40.000

I don't recommend anyone to buy Interval International membership. I am stuck with them paying thousands of $dollars each year with no great service. This time share has many problems. 1) They are expensive and you never get to book location of your choice. 2) The Interval International time share doesn't have any proper website that can show your pending points to book reservations. 3) They send you confirmation about your reservation and later after few weeks when I booked my travel They say you reservation is not confirmed. Then why the hell you sent me the confirmation you show pending confirmation. 4) When you call customer service then you have to spend entire day as they will keep transferring you from one place to another. There are many things they need to improve.. In short don't buy don't get stuck like me. I am very sad and dissatisfied with them.

Interval is owned by the Mariott and I find that they will not make right how they have ripped me off. They charged me 4000 pts and a $209 exchange fee, which in real dollars totals close to $1800 for a substandard resort. The resort I booked through them can be purchased anywhere online for around $500 for the exact same thing. They took a nice Mariott resort away from me during Covid and I never did get an comparable resort. Their attitude is, "You're just a sucker, take this and be happy. Use due dilligence when booking, blah, blah,..." With all their resorts, they should have restored what was lost. Also, it shouldn't cost you 3 to 5 times as much to book a resort as can be found online. If anyone ever does a class action law suit, count me in please!

Horrible company. Can never find dates. When you call you speak to someone from India who can’t understand anything you say. What a joke this company is

Joined Interval International a year before the pandemic began. Made my first reservation for Cancun. Even purchased the travel insurance. Paid the reservation fee. Unfortunately, the pandemic began and we could not travel. However, when I tried to get my money back. Interval International and their insurance company would not reimburse me. I guess a worldwide pandemic was not a good enough excuse to get your funds back. I would discourage any potential members for joining.

I put in a request January 2022 to stay at the one resort near our home from mid May to mid June. I was hoping to get my family together but it looks like it's a no go. I put in a request for a dozen resorts in Daytona for July hoping to get something, but there again a no go. I will cancel this worthless program.

We used our Vistana points to stay at the Sheraton Desert Oasis for a week and decided to purchase a Getaway week through II to extend our vacation to 2 weeks. We purchsed a 1 bedroom unit with a full kitchen and king bed. 3 days prior to check-in I received a phone message from an Interval Representative saying there was a computer error on their end and we were instead getting a small 1 bedroom unit with a partial kitchen. This meant we would have to move units although we paid for the larger unit. But what's more egregious is the message we received which was cavalier and unapologetic. Nothing referencing the inconvenience they created by having us move condos in the middle of our vacation or compensation whether in a monetary form or a free bonus week. I am appalled at the lack of customer service on an issue that is solely Interval Internationals problem, not ours yet you wouldn't know it based on the unprofessional way in how they've handled their mistake.
