Horrible experience, they are a broker not a moving company. I bought a white glove service, $13,000. My items were damaged, lost, all hardware lost for items taken apart, they hired people off the streets to invite into my home, no Ramps, no floor covering and will now not stand behind me against the company. I was fined and fees for damage they created. $14,500 move, and I was offered….. $153 for my claims of thousands lost ruined and damaged! Do not use!!!

Horrible company
Horrible company, DO NOT USE! They do not follow federal regulations with binding and non-binding estimates. Binding = cannot change. 3 days after my binding estimate I asked about added 5-10 medium boxes (13 days before my move). They said it won't be a problem but someone will call me. No one ever did. Day of move, I asked about the boxes and he said he'll submit the boxes with the inventory. $4,400 was the answer when $3,200 was the binding estimate. They jumped the 350 cu/ft estimate to 550 cu/ft. I said forget the boxes, and he told me to call Interstate Moving.
Worst lady in the world who called me (someone already told her the situation). She arguably explained it's the estimate and that's what it is. I said I'll just leave the boxes, and she said it doesn't matter because it's how the load the truck. She gave me two choices: sign or they can leave. Since it was a Saturday and I had to clear that day, I had no choice to sign.
This happened on May 30th. I researched the issue and found out it is law they cannot change the binding estimate but may add additional fees for unforeseen circumstances. When I tried to revert back to the first quote they told me it wasn't an option. Since May 31st I have called, texted, and emailed Interstate Moving...no response. After I receive my final bill, I will undoubtedly report them to the Department of Transportation [Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration] for violating federal regulation for not following a Binding estimate and since they won't contact me, I'll add a failure to comply with the federal arbitration clause.

Hang Up, Run Away
Initially I received a quote for $3,862.76 from interstate moving & relocation which the Florida Dept. of State shows is owned by Mondcorp Management LLC, a quote which included a military discount. I paid a $1,894.88 deposit, which I later learned was non-refundable. On 5/22/2026, while on my way to the airport, another employee called and insisted the call could not be rescheduled, warning that my move could be delayed if I did not continue. Although I repeatedly explained that I was not home and asked to speak later, he became increasingly aggressive and pressured me into answering questions. He then informed me I owed an additional $748 immediately or they would not complete the move. When I asked to speak with a manager, he claimed he was the manager. I said I wanted to cancel, but he told me my deposit was non-refundable and that I would not be able to secure another mover in time. Under pressure, I paid the additional $748. After returning from the airport, I researched the company online and discovered many similar complaints describing the same tactics and escalating demands for payment. I contacted customer service to cancel the move and requested a refund of the additional $748 within the 72-hour cancellation window. I am now being ghosted. I have contacted my bank and filed with the BBB. I ultimately secured a reputable moving company and learned that large upfront deposits, low initial estimates followed by increasing charges, broad delivery windows, demands for cash payments, and high-pressure tactics are common warning signs of moving scams. I hope sharing my experience helps prevent others from going through the same situation.

Company Representative Called Me Rude
I previously sent a letter to the CEO of Interstate Moving and Relocation Group. After conducting further research, I realized I had addressed the wrong company. When I inquired about the CEO's identity from employees, they informed me that they couldn't disclose that information. A subsequent search yielded no clear answer, and the company's website does not list a CEO. If the CEO prefers to remain anonymous, it raises concerns about the company's transparency and accountability.
Below is the letter to the CEO.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Customer Service Representative Adrienne
I am writing to formally express disappointment with the conduct of your customer service representative, Adrienne, during an outbound phone conversation on July 2, 2025, at approximately 2:30 PM CST. My job number is 5486477.
In the call, I pointed out that she added additional furniture to the inventory. I addressed the issue firmly but respectfully, but Adrienne abruptly told me not to “take that tone” with her. I did not respond to her rude behavior and I remained calm throughout the rest of the call.
What followed at the end of the call was, quite frankly, unacceptable. Adrienne launched into an unsolicited one-minute lecture, during which she thoroughly chastised me for being a “rude customer” (her words). She continued to address me in a condescending and disrespectful tone that was not only unappreciated but also completely unnecessary and unwarranted. This kind of treatment is deeply inappropriate, left me shocked, and is entirely inappropriate for a customer service representative, ever, under any circumstances.
As a paying customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and professionalism—particularly during a household interstate move that is already a high-stress experience. Adrienne's tone, impatience, and accusatory attitude fell far short of that expectation.
I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and addressed internally. I would also appreciate a written acknowledgment of this complaint and some assurance that steps are being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Stay Away From These Frauds
We have moved 9 times and once from the United States to Germany and back and we have never experienced such an unprofessional, misleading group of hacks in my adult life. We made the huge mistake of trusting these amateurs with a move halfway across the country. We originally contacted them and Mitch was our Point of Contact. We kept getting this load of crap about how they were at the top of the Forbes list. When it came time to go over our household goods and begin the inventory of what needed to be moved, everything was done over the phone. No one came to our home and physically checked or took photos of our property. We asked about someone coming to our home and actually taking an inventory and we were told everything is over the phone now. The original estimate was for approx $9300. We were told that 4-7 days prior to the move, we would get a call to verify what needed to be moved. When the second call came in, my wife stayed on the phone with Adrienne for over an hour walking around the house and telling her what needed to be moved. As she did with Mitch, she provided measurements. We actually sold some items to the people that bought our home and the estimate went to over $11,000! This after we had actually sold items and those items would not be moved. Items specifically identified to be moved were a 9' ladder, a 20' extension ladder, a 6'x3' work bench, tool boxes and tables from the back porch, to name just a few. The morning of the actual move, we were told the truck would be at our home between 9:00 & 11:00AM. The truck didn't arrive until 11:30AM. The driver immediately walked through our home and gave us the impression that the truck was too small and that they wouldn't be able to load all of our household goods! He then told us that the estimate to move would now be $13,500! It went from $9300 to over $13,500 in less than a week! Since the truck was dispatched from over 3 hours away, there was no way to get a bigger truck. We were furious and kept asking if all of our stuff would fit on the truck. Calls were made to the local moving company, Panthers Moving & Storage out of Austin, Texas. 8 hours later, I was told to come out to the garage. They told me they didn't have enough room on the truck and we had to leave a number of our personal items. We had to leave a 9' ladder, 20' extension ladder, a work bench, a 6' metal locker used to store power tools and supplies, a leaf blower, edge trimmer, 50' garden hose, 100' garden hose, two tables on the back porch, tool box, power cords and other assorted items. The work bench was an heirloom that was used by my father in law when he owned a small business machine repair shop. My wife actually cried because we simply had no other choice! Can you imagine having to simply leave your personal items because the moving company didn't bring the right equipment? We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the moving company that Interstate used to move us was from Austin, TX...over 3 hours away. They couldn't find a moving company in the DFW area? We found out later that the local moving company Interstate used to move us had terrible reviews and is under investigation! I immediately tried to get in touch with Mitch and complain because he was our initial point of contact. Instead, I got other people from Interstate that just made excuses and the Compliance Manager actually told me it was my fault that we left some personal items behind because it was my responsibility what goes on the truck and what does not! They said they would "escalate" this situation and as of three weeks later...nothing has been done. This was a complete sham and these people cannot and must not be trusted. They are moving brokers. All they do is find the cheapest local mover and send them to your home. No one visited our home. No one took pictures. When we confronted them, they placed further blame on the Department of Transportation. They brag about top service and being on the Forbes list and then screw you to the wall. They are all about protecting themselves. After we had gone through the shock of having to leave so many items behind, my wife walked through our kitchen and started to open drawers to see if they had packed our kitchen utensils and other kitchen cooking items and she found four drawers that were untouched. We had to find a plastic garbage bag and dump knives, forks, spoons and dozens of other kitchen cooking items. This company is such a sham and they absolutely will not take accountability for their actions or the actions of the company they contracted with to pack us. Please stay away from them. Research other movers! Read reviews and stay away from Interstate! They are out of Florida. We will probably not receive any satisfaction for the trauma we had to endure and the extra $4000 they stuck us with because of their incompetence. DO NOT USE INTERSTATE!!!
