Four Years with InstaWP – Great Support and Impressive Growth
I originally purchased InstaWP through AppSumo back in 2022, so I’ve had the chance to use the platform for several years and watch it develop significantly up until 2026. Overall, my experience has been very positive. The support team has always been friendly, fast, understanding, and willing to look at individual situations instead of just giving generic answers. I especially appreciated the help with migration issues over the years. Whenever something didn’t work as expected, the team usually took the time to investigate and help find a solution. I also had several situations where InstaWP created fair and individual offers for my specific use case. There were, however, a few things that negatively affected my experience. One of the bigger issues was related to the `wp2shell-guard.php` security topic. I appreciate that InstaWP actively worked on fixing the security issue, but during that process several of my websites experienced fatal errors and became unavailable — in some cases for days. The problem also reappeared because the fix had apparently not yet been implemented consistently across all servers. Another recurring frustration was server maintenance. There were several occasions where servers were put into maintenance without me being informed beforehand. This meant I sometimes had to open a support ticket or chat just to find out why I could no longer work. My work was occasionally blocked for hours, which could have been avoided or planned around if there had simply been proactive communication. I also experienced repeated IP blocks while working intensively on websites. In my case this was usually related to requests involving the Slim SEO plugin’s REST endpoint. I was not doing anything unusual — just editing pages frequently and quickly — but my IP would occasionally be blocked, sometimes every few days during intensive work periods. Support always reacted quickly and unblocked me, which I appreciated, but although a permanent solution was discussed several times, the underlying issue was never fully resolved for me. Despite those technical frustrations, I have always felt that InstaWP treated me fairly and respectfully as a customer. Support was one of the strongest parts of the service: responsive, helpful, and genuinely interested in solving problems. After several years with the platform, I’m now leaving InstaWP because I’m closing my projects for personal reasons, not because of dissatisfaction with the company. Looking back from 2022 to 2026, it has been impressive to see how much the platform has grown and evolved. Overall, InstaWP has been an important tool for my work over the last few years, and I’m grateful for the support I received along the way.
