A good tool but also a big scam when it comes to unsubscribing... ! I can't cancel my billing plan in advance, and I need to go on the website in 1 month to unsubscribe, and if I miss the date, it will be one more month of waiting... Scandalous

Keep charging me even though my account has been deleted.

I wanted to try this out as its literally called instant wordpress and I wanted to get some quick work done and see if this was a good longer term solution to have access to my website from anywhere in the world before launch. After baiting me forward of course comes the pricing tier and it has free tier greyed out and unselectable because I gave the project a name. Ok so I went back and deleted the name. This time the free tier is greyed out for no reason they don't even have an excuse because there is no excuse. It just says plan disabled. At that point just pay for the server space yourself and launch yourself before you've even built out the website its cheaper and more powerful anyways. The whole thing is a gimmick anyways but hey if you know almost nothing about website development then I am sure it will seem like a good find. It is a convenience wrapper. It is a SaaS layer built over basic server containerization designed to extract money from users who do not know how to spin up a local environment or configure a server.

After trying InstaWP for staging and migrations, I experienced more headaches than benefits. Within the first 24 hours there were three separate outages or critical errors—migrations stalled, new sites wouldn’t create, and even successful instances lost their database connection. Each outage left me without service for hours and there was no proactive notice or status‑page update. The support team didn’t respond for more than 12 hours during the first outage and only offered credits instead of addressing the underlying problems. What made matters worse was the billing. I was told that migrations were free, only to discover charges after the fact. When I questioned this, InstaWP claimed their pricing page had long listed a $20/month fee for white‑label usage but admitted it had been removed during a restructuring and recently relaunched at $5 per team/month. They also said migration fees apply only when pushing a site out of InstaWP, yet I was billed without any clear explanation. Being charged for features that weren’t clearly documented—and even retroactively applied—undermines trust. Despite apologies and promises of future improvements, these repeated outages and opaque billing practices made it impossible to rely on InstaWP.

I am very frustrated with their support. I am using their free plan and default settings, which do not require me to upgrade. However, they disabled it for me and forced me to upgrade or create a new account with them.

Upon applying a 30% off discount coupon for their service, I was informed that I would not be eligible for the standard 14-day trial period that is otherwise offered. This policy was not made clear at any point during the purchase process, leading to a situation that feels deceptive.It's important for customers to understand that the 14-day trial, a significant value proposition, is effectively nullified by using a discount coupon. The trial itself can be equated to nearly a 50% discount, depending on the service's cost structure. Thus, one could argue that by applying a 30% discount and removing the trial, the company is engaging in a bait-and-switch tactic, offering what appears to be a concession while withdrawing a more substantial benefit without prior warning.This experience has left me feeling cheated. The absence of any warning or notice about the trial being voided upon applying a discount is, in my view, a significant oversight or, worse, an intentional deception. Consequently, I am requesting a full refund from the provider, as the terms of the offer were not fully disclosed at the point of sale.I write this review to caution potential customers to thoroughly scrutinize the terms and conditions of any offers or discounts provided by this company. The lack of transparency and customer-centric communication in my case raises questions about the provider's business practices. I would strongly advise looking for alternatives where policies are clear and customer satisfaction is a priority.
