I purchased the standard XL tent a few years ago. Didn’t get to use it until recently and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality given a nearly $1500 price. The main zipper on the cover gave me issues almost immediately when using it. The tent opened up properly but took a couple hours to get closed since the zipper would get stuck and skip teeth. Now the zipper can’t be closed at all because both pieces used to zip it have broken completely off the track. I’m now stuck with a tent I can’t use and the dissatisfaction that I spent so much on a product that doesn’t seem to have good longevity of use.

My carbon fiber rtt won't close fully even after completely deflating the mattress, I am super stressed it took me over a couple hour to close the tent and yet there are large gaps on both side and as I am in NYC we get rain at least twice a week and I'm really worried about mold. *** TRIED sending this msg through SUPPORT but it never went through***

The brand new tenth I purchased had stains all over the inside of the roof. I text one of the owners and he was out of the country. He instructed me to call customer service. So I left them a voice message about the situation almost 2 weeks ago now and still no call back. Not a good experience at all. Very dissatisfied. Very unhappy customer.

I spent a lot of time researching rooftop tents and had a good chunk of that time wasted by Inspired Overland's misrepresented shipping rates. They were quick to reach out about shipping costing almost double the $350 rate listed ($620), but were not very helpful about anything after that (and had already promptly charged my credit card...). When I called to chat I left several messages before reaching a person. They hadn't read my emailed response for an entire business day and were more concerned with setting me straight on shipping costs than making things right. Everything came across as very unprofessional and fly-by-night, and I'm ultimately glad to have learned to avoid products from Inspired Overland. Wish I hadn't wasted the time, though.

Didn’t receive a tracking within “5-7 business days” then got an email saying there is a delay on freight. Haven’t received the tent yet so i can’t comment on quality. Hoping i don’t have to wait another two weeks to get an update. Most likely will request a refund.

Only a 1 star because i haven’t received any notification as to when my tent will be shipped. I understand lead times may be long but i have no idea when to expect the arrival of my tent.

You advertise no lead time but a week later and still haven’t heard anything about my order. Dishing out almost 2k for a tent is a lot so I would expect shipping times faster. Badass tents guarantee 48 hour ship time
