Hi KAS, Thank you for your kind words about our 17 Color AirColors™ AirBrush Ink Set. I am very sorry you are not happy with the bottles. The reason we use these hard bottles is to prevent overfilling and splashing. These are meant to be unscrewed and gently poured into the top reservoir of your airbrush gun or to be used with the included squeeze dropper. Squeezable bottles can sometimes release too much with just a small bit of pressure (which is why most food colorings and flavorings are often packaged in harder, pourable bottles rather than squeezable). The reason we also have the option of the flip disk cap is to have the ability to very slowly, drip by drip, dispense color for other creations. This ink is very intense in color and can also be used as tint or shade to mix with and color many other edible items, so a very little goes a very long way. We suggest using it, drip by drip, to mix into other food items or mix with our other AirColors™ to create new shades and tones. You can try mixing some of your favorite of these 17 colors into our White AirColor™ to create beautiful pastels (which will be available soon on InkEdibles.com) or into our Silver AirColor™ from our Dazzle collection to create fun sparkly colors that are perfect for the holiday season. I hope that this helps clear up a little of you frustration about why we use these bottles. I also hope that you will reconsider and possibly consider recommending these if the opportunity arises. Either way, we thank you for trying our AirColors™ and hope that we can provide you with more InkEdibles in the future. All the best, Maria

Hi Angie, I am sorry to hear about your frustration with refilling the cartridges. The best time to refill cartridges is when there is about 25-30% ink left in the reservoir tank section of your cartridge. You can remove your cartridges and visually check this or use the ink level function in your printer. It is best to always remove your cartridges, seal them and clean the printhead when your edible ink printer is not in use on a daily basis. You can make a habit of visually checking the ink level of your cartridges when you do this maintenance. If the tank section is completely empty and there is only some ink left in the sponge section, it is more difficult for the printer to recognize that the cartridge is full. Our cartridges come with resettable chips. This is convenient because it is the chip that tells the printer how much usable ink is in available in the cartridge. To reset your chips, after you have filled your cartridges and reinserted them into the printer, press the “STOP” button on your printer for 5-7 seconds. This will allow the printer to reinitialize and reset the chips to register as full. I hope these tip are helpful to you the next time you refil your cartridges. Please feel free to contact us again at anytime. All the best, Maria
