InGenius PrepReviews of ingeniusprep.com

With my team from Ingenius Prep, I was able to gain more insight into how the process worked, and how I can show myself and my own voice through my application. With changes and pivots, the process ended very successfully! Thank you to my counselors!

Highly recommend this team for university applications! Their guidance was professional, organized, and strategic throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Shu Yuan, who supported me every step of the way with patience, expertise, and encouragement. She was always available to answer questions and provide clear advice. I’m very grateful for all the help and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

InGenius was an life-saving assistance in the university application process that ultimately got me into the second best business program in the world that also happens to be in an Ivy League. I had Zak & Kira as my Former Admission Officer and Former Grad Officer, respectively, and they were incredibly experienced with how to strategically position my story to best fit the criteria each school had for their prospective candidates. Zak & Kira were also some of the most efficient communicators I had met, which fit my style - we cut straight to the solutions of the pain point in my application in every meeting instead of fluff words. I think another surprising huge takeaway I had was how educational Kira were as not just a Grad Officer but a mentor: she recommended many books, some of which had helped me get initial exposure in an industry that I'm currently interning in as a Freshman, while many of my peers in a competitive program struggle to find an internship. Rich was also a huge help in the whole process - coordinating communication between all three of us and my parents. Overall - if you find a mentor that fits you, InGenius will absolutely be the best help you can get at a fair price, especially compared to predatory institutions that charge you an insane amount.

During this demanding yet fulfilling process of college applications, IG really helped with making the process feel a lot less stressful and a lot more meaningful by encouraging me to focus on building my application through genuine interests and passions.

Great experience working with Admissions Counselor Heather McCutchen at Ingenius! She provided around the clock support, clear feedback, and sustained a powerful vision for the college application process which ultimately led to my acceptance to a T3 school. Could not thank her or the Ingenius team enough for their support during this process :)

I have had a wonderful experience working with Ingenius since joining last year. The entire team is highly organized, professional, and supportive. The counselors are extremely experienced and provided valuable guidance to help students build strong resumes and prepare for college applications. I am very happy with the counselor who is very understanding of the students' needs. The FAO team was equally impressive, recommending summer camps that matched the student’s profile and providing strategic, high-level advice throughout the application process. The LLP project mentor Ms. Maya has been especially outstanding. I am very lucky to work with her, who brings exceptional leadership, innovative project ideas, and extensive connections across diverse disciplines and regions. With her guidance and support, I was able to develop and complete an impactful leadership project that combined my background and my interest. She also encouraged me to transform this work into a research paper, which has been published. The progress manager worked tirelessly to keep students on track with their assignments and deadlines. She helped secure spots in limited-capacity workshops, communicated effectively with students to ensure projects were completed, and always listened patiently to both students and parents while offering prompt and practical solutions. In addition, Ingenius provides tremendous overall support through regular seminars and workshops that help both students and parents better understand the college application process and the key factors considered during admissions. Overall, we are extremely grateful for the dedication, expertise, and encouragement provided by the Ingenius team.

The experience is immensely helpful. They help you with all parts of the process and genuinely ensure that you can do well.

My Overall experience with InGenius is great! I get in contact with them and began our coorparation in before my junoir year. InGenius mostly help with planning in my senior year, like how to create my profile, what class to choose, how to carry forward my activities. I would say I felt safe that someone is helping me to contol my pace, and having somewhere to ask for and reference on while I met difficulties. I joined two of the candidacy building camps where I learned a lot, not just on how to do application but personal lifelong growth. One is book-reading and writing, and one is about political philosophy, the teachers are all really nice. I also very much like the process of gradually developing the PS. Our team started to design it pretty early and InGenius also has online camps in the summer to help us optimizing the eassy narratives with 1v1 instruction. The teachers are conscientious too. My GC did her utmost to help me, we actively revise my essays and meet every week in application season. She also did respect my opinoins. My progress manager also helped me a lot especially in choosing schools, listing down information in google charts to help with my decision. I recommend InGenius for application!
