Impact AcademyReviews of impact.me

I have been a yoga teacher for 12 years and have always wanted to bring my offerings to an online platform but had absolutely no idea how to do that, or even where to start. I found Impact via social media and knew pretty instantly that I had found what I had been missing all along...the guidance, the patience, the structure that gave me the confidence to do what I had dreamed of doing. The team at Impact has been amazing to work with - they always have answers for my many questions; additionally, the platform is built in such a way that even my elementary understanding of building an online business can comprehend. I am still rather new into this journey but am already full of ideas, inspiration and the tools to help me actually realize my potential. So happy I took this step!

I joined Impact Academy in mid-June, so I’ve now been working on building my digital business for about three months. What I’ve found most valuable so far is the clarity I’ve gained throughout the process and the support during the calls. They’ve helped me organise my ideas, work through questions and understand what to focus on next. I’ve also reactivated my social media and recently gained over 500 followers from a single post by applying what I’ve learned so far. The most challenging part is also the most important one: doing the work, reflecting, making changes based on the feedback and trying again. But I think that’s part of the challenge of being an entrepreneur, regardless of the programme. Overall, it’s been a very positive experience, and I still have a lot to learn and apply. I’ll definitely keep making use of the Academy as I continue building my business.

I’ve been a member of Impact Academy for two months, and so far, I’ve learned a lot about content creation and growing my audience. One of the things I’ve found particularly helpful is how they work with you to refine your business mission and clarify your niche. The feedback I’ve received has been consistently helpful, and the coaching sessions have been valuable depending on where you are in the process. The staff, including Andy, clearly know the business and have been supportive throughout my experience. There’s a lot of information and guidance available, and I’ve already gained a much better understanding of what it takes to build and grow an audience. The biggest thing I would emphasize is that it does take time. When I initially signed up for Impact Academy, I think I had an expectation that things would happen faster. Looking back, that may have been more about my own expectations than anything the Academy promised. Building a business and an audience is a process, and I’m realizing that it takes consistency, patience, and time. Overall, my experience after two months has been positive, and I’m looking forward to continuing to learn and see where the process takes me.

A few things worth knowing before you invest: - Positives: there is a real structure, system, and community to follow, and it can help grow your audience quickly. Coaches and support personnel are friendly and efficient. - But the gap is obvious by comparison. There are cheaper programs that teach more and offer more value. This program is expensive, and the price doesn't reflect the substance. - The sales process set expectations of earning back a monthly salary, which wasn't backed up despite showing up for the work. - Growing an audience isn't the same as understanding why. There's more implementation and hacks than actual strategy that gives you long-term business understanding. Without that, you can grow an audience without ever understanding how to turn it into a business. - Some parts of the program are siloed, offer feedback happens in isolation, never the full picture of content, audience, and offer in alignment. - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone in the burnout, trauma, or psychology space. The level of nuance you need isn't there, the program favours physical yoga (handstands, splits) instead. - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a business or corporate background. You won't get the depth (business strategy, content architecture, nuance) you need to succeed in this space. - Perhaps most disappointing: I spent real time writing detailed, specific feedback and received generic, vague responses in return, deflections rather than took accountability.

Impact academy is a platform to help wellness coaches to develop their own online business. Before I encounter impact academy I had the idea that I wouldn’t manage to be that person. Since I’ve start working with impact academy that as brought me trust, skills, and understanding on how to grow online and be independent. Thank you so much

This is a great training in digital marketing for online yoga teaching. A whole team of people are there to support you and the sense of Community with fellow teachers all over the world is wonderful. If you are prepared to work really hard and deal with AI and quite a lot of technology to set up your business it’s a really worthwhile challenge.

I sought out a local middle school where my child could thrive and Impact Academy Middle School checked all the boxes. Yes, there was a lottery to enter but it was free and open to all students. The registration process was efficient and we understood where we were in the process. My child is now one year in the program and is thriving. They come home excited about school and smiling when talking about their teachers. There is plenty of communication that goes out where families know where their child is and with home, as well as what grades they have thus far. We appreciate Impact Academy for everything they do for the children and families.

So far it’s really Great working with Impact Academy. I am going through all the modules and the progress is already visible on paper! Also the support so far is great! I will keep going and see where the journey takes me! But I’m sure somewhere great! Thanks impact 💪🏽
