IM CreatorReviews of imcreator.com

I love this way of creating websites, and that they are generous with giving artists , students and charities a free licence (for one website) to connect to your own domain name. Thesupport staff are great too, very helpful. I would have given five stars except for that when I loaded up a gallery of images, it mixed them up when I published it. Discovered that if I published one row of four photos at a time was OK. Similar problem with adding slides to a slide show - needed to save and refresh the page before publishing.

I am customer of the old model IM Creator (a easy website building tool), so can't speak of their new product. Making a site in IMCreator was perhaps not too hard. But I now find out some pages (which we considered as drafts) were published and indexed by Google and there is no easy way to make them invisible for Google. I have deleted these pages but they still show up in search results and are clickable. Support is not answering yet how to get this straight. Another bad sign is that the support section on their own website is no longer reachable (they had a contract with a company called Zendesk, so it seems, and most pages go to Zen and are useless links). I had to look carefully to come to a new support page that works. And even then, it doesn't seem to be updated for some time. No good feeling for me. If I had to select again, I wouldn't.

Great website creator with an easy to use and intuitive interface. I've used many other website creators in the past including Wix, Wordpress, and Square Space and IMXPRS is by far my favourite. The support team quickly addressed any issues or questions I ran into while creating my website and continued to provide value at each step of the process. I highly recommend this to anyone who is new to website creation and who enjoys a smooth clean interface when building their product.

Very simple and free website builder

Being an expert in the web design niche, I’ve come across dozens of website builders that can be used for a wide array of purposes. I have the first hand knowledge of how complicated this process may be and how much time it may take. If you are looking for a simple, user-friendly, convenient and affordable website builder to launch a website for commercial or non-commercial use, then you will generally have to choose between several options. IM Creator will surely be one of them. Due to the ease-of use, intuitive interface, understandable drag-and-drop editor, this website builder can be considered one of the most suitable solutions for users with diverse web design background. Whether you plan to start a portfolio, a promo website, a landing page or any other website type, IM Creator will help you cope with this task with ease. What really distinguishes IM Creator from the prevailing amount of other web building services is its orientation on the needs of ordinary users with little or no web design experience, creatives, students, photographers, musicians and non-profit organizations. For these categories of users, the system offers a separate plan, which is absolutely free. IM Creator comes with a range of powerful features that ensure smooth, quick and effective web building process. There is everything you need to start and manage a decent website here. Another benefit is that you don't have to possess web coding skills to run your IM Creator-based website. Do you need a quality and customizable template? Here you go! Just reach IM Creator template collection and choose between dozens of contemporary responsive templates and customization tools to give them unique design. All the hassle of the web-building process goes down to the selection and arrangement of blocks and filling them with content. Is there anything easier than that, when it comes to web creation? What’s more, IM Creator allows building blogs and eCommerce websites, which doesn't take much time as well. One of the highlights of the website builder is its scalable White Label solution for customers, who have the intention to use the service and the features it unveils under their brand names. All the options, services, customer support, hosting, domain name, templates etc. are provided in this case until the end of the cooperation period. IM Creator White Label plans differ with regard to the features and services offered. You can choose between: “Standard White Label” that suits best web designers and entrepreneurs (offers everything you might need to run your own website builder - unlimited licenses, full billing and pricing control, replacement of the system brand with that of your own, an ability to use your own templates, full user controls etc.) “Host It Yourself” that works best for design firms and cloud hosting companies (offers the services enlisted in the standard package plus cPanel integration, your own domains API, editors CSS control as well as an opportunity to add your own stripes, host websites on your server and get the downloadable version of your clients’ websites) “Servers Control” that is the best solution for classic hosting companies and data-sensitive applications (provides the benefits implied by the “Host It Yourself” plan plus server ownership, cPanel and API, an opportunity to get a customized copy of the website builder on your own Google Cloud Server and login APIs). The White Label solution is a smart solution for hosting companies, business owners, resellers, web designers and studios etc. IM Creator comes up to any web building needs and preferences, unveiling lots of options and benefits to newbies and professionals.

The site was cool and easy. Troubleshooting was quick and accurate.

I am the founder of the no profit animal association Cuore husky Rescue. The company IM Creator has been so kind to donate a free license to our Rescue, so we can finally have a website where we can post the pics of the abandoned dogs we save and who are looking for a family. We are truly grateful for such generosity. IM Creator is very sensitive to no profit initiatives. And their templates are amazing.

Okay, this is a fair and honest review based on my experience as a new reseller to IM creator. I looked at this 12 months ago and it was $250 now it's $350 for a resellers account, (plus tax) so with the discount initially your looking at over $400 The templates are great and easy to use and they look great. Connecting the domains is easy via the DNS servers and the sites load as should, clients overall are happy. They encourage you to use zoo and google apps mail to create emails for clients, however, because you are not changing the nameservers in your account where domains are held, you can still set up and manage emails for your clients without the additional work having to go round the houses. I found this out by my hosting provider who I also have a resellers account with (fast hosts), so that saved me a headache as I cant see clients wanting spend time with 3rd parties, they want their websites and emails working smoothly. I use other platforms as well as IMCREATOR and to be honest, IM is the only one that does NOT offer SSL as standard, you have to buy these as an extra, which for me was a little surprising given you can get SSL free from other reseller platforms. In my opinion, you HAVE to have SSL, otherwise sites will appear as unsafe, this happens by default on chrome so if anyone uses chrome to use the net and your site doesn't have SSL then you do this at your own risk. I was a little disappointed with this if I'm honest. This service is an additional £200+ tax (Pounds) per YEAR for this facility but I'm assured you can have unlimited SSL for your websites, my only gripe is, I wish this was published or I was made aware of this at the time of buying the resellers account because I didn't budget for this additional expense meaning for now, my clients websites are not SSL protected. They will show ok if you just add www BUT as I say chrome automatically default websites to https:// and there lays the issue. Moving onto support: Although support do respond and 90% they guide you correctly which is great, for me, the length of time they take can be challenging, sometimes over 24hours. I don't understand why they have a chat facility on their website, because no-one is ever live, this is a general complaint throughout forums however no doubt they are busy, but for resellers like me, can be somewhat annoying, but in the end they do get back, sometimes quickly and with resolve. Maybe being Scottish I'm just impatient. Im new to this platform, having used others in the past, others that are more expensive others that are cheaper, but the designs on here look better and I look forward to what lays ahead. I will do another review in 6 months and offer my findings after having used the platform and have more experience with it but for now these are my initial findings.
