Sent an email to my business domain stating it needs renewing - sounds plausible but they are not and have never been involved in my web domain. This is a well known and well publicised phishing scam with potential to move your web domain to a different host of you're not careful. A Google search on these guys will tell you everything you need to know

This was received uninvited and is apparently a scam. Do not click on the invoice or pay same!!

Unfortunately Zero stars is not available. IDMUK kept sending invoices for me to renew my domain which I am registered with UK2 Net who are a legitimate company. Anything from IDMUK ** IS A SCAM ** do not worry about losing your domain, do not pay IDMUK a penny !!

I received what appeared to be a genuine invoice for the renewal of my domain name. The email looked very similar to a legitimate domain renewal notice and quoted a payment of £95. Only after reading the small print did I discover that it was not for renewing my domain, but for a separate "domain renewal notification" service. As my domain is already registered with another provider, I found the email and invoice unnecessarily confusing and potentially misleading.

Scam. Repeatedly send emails to say your domain renewal has expired and charging £78.00. The date my domain supposedly expired is always down as 28 April. Surely if that was the case my website would be down. Weirdly it is still going because funnily enough my domain is managed via a different company for a fraction of the price. Marking as spam seems to not do much in my email account as the emails still come. However do not fall for this. Scam company. Do not click on links, open files or pay anything.

It’s a small print scam. It LOOKS like a domain renewal invoice, but it’s actually an invoice for a domain expiry warning service that you didn’t ask for. It’s like me telling you it’s raining and then invoicing you £90 for strategic meteorological services.
