I was interested until I asked for a different NDA that was not so one sided on their behalf. I expressed concern about the arbitration and how in their NDA, all arbitration had to take place in California. As an inventor, it is important to look out for your invention. Dont use their NDA. In response: The reason I left three stars was I believe the premis behind what Ideapros.com can do is decent. Your company protects its interest and any other company must protect their interest. If ideapros.com were to invest $500,000 in a company, you will do what is needed to protect those investments, The same can be said for a company with a great innovative product like propertytaxdr.com. Admittedly, it was disappointing not being able to agree on something as simple as an NDA. I must protect my investment and in the event that something went wrong, it would come at a large cost to my company to send Attorneys to California. The old saying "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

thanks for the edit - it helps clarify your position. Your idea certainly seems to have merit and I wish you all the best in your endeavors - very interesting concept. I would suggest, however, that you not worry about an app version. Most people who would use something like this are probably sitting at their desk and taking the time to access their property records, etc. Not everything needs to be in app form - this is a perfect example. My "free" review for you is that you can use quite a bit of messaging work and web design; then a real go-to-market strategy and an analysis of your underlying model. The best of luck to you on that - I think you're on to something. Fred Cary, Executive Chairman PRIOR REPLY I'm sorry that you did not like our NDA. But, I don't understand why you believe that warrants a 3 star review since we haven't even done business together. If you think you have a great idea please have your attorney review our process and I'll be happy to look at it personally - although I can't promise it's something we will be willing to partner with you on. I've copied our NDA below for anyone to see. As an entrepreneur you will find that most companies that receive unsolicited information refuse to provide any nda at all . Ours is one sided - in your favor. It is very simple and clear, and protects your submission for FIVE years, something literally nobody does. As far as having the jurisdiction be in California, you will find that standard with any company you ever do business with. We get applications from all over the world - nobody should be expected to agree to thousands of different jurisdictions. Anyone who wants to submit an idea should understand that, while we remain willing to consider any idea, we accept very few. I appreciate your concerns and you're absolutely right, it is wise to be protective of your idea. We encourage all Entrepreneurs to be careful about who they try to do business with - that's why I am so proud of our over 100 five star reviews from verified partners and our A+ BBB rating. Happy to talk to you. Frederick Cary Executive Chairman Our NDA It is understood and agreed that the parties to this Agreement would each like to provide the other with certain information that may be considered confidential. IDEAPROS does not and will not act as an independent promoter, developer, or marketer of any product or service. This due diligence is being conducted with the intent of, but no obligation to, FOUNDER and IDEAPROS entering into a commercial business agreement. 4. In the event that a dispute arises concerning this Agreement or performance under this Agreement, any and all disputes must be settled by arbitration in San Diego County. 5. FOUNDER warrants and represents to IDEAPROS that this Agreement is motivated by a commercial goal and, as such, represents a commercial, and not a consumer relationship. WHEREFORE, the parties acknowledge that they have read and understand this Agreement and voluntarily accept the duties and obligations set forth herein.
