Impossible
This sucks! It sounds like, if you invent something and don't have any money you will never see your invention to fruition. Unless you partner up with money bags! I hate the industry for making it impossible for me as an inventor to make something and be successful at it. The ideas are sound vut to get them out is next to impossible unless of course you have money like Elon Musk!
Response from IdeaProsMay 9, 2022
Hi Galvin. I agree, it's really hard to "invent" something and get anywhere without money. There are millions of "new ideas" around the world every single day and there really are no resources to take a raw idea and turn it into tomorrow's must have product. In fact, even "inventors" who find the money to patent an idea end up where 97% of all patents end up - on the wall and never built.
That's why we don't even work with inventors; we partner with entrepreneurs that want to build businesses with that first idea. And it's a long, complicated and, yes, expensive process. While Ideapros, and companies like venture capital firms and private equity group can greatly decrease the amount of money it takes to launch a business - it's certainly not free. And, speaking of Elon Musk, he started his first company with a $28,000 loan from his dad. Here's a cool story: https://www.sitebuilderreport.com/origin-stories/elon-musk
So, keep trying. Talk to family and friends. Get some help.

So this isn't a review as moreso a question. From reading the reviews this company charges alot and I completely get why...Though it's my idea your doing the work...What does someone do if they have all the useful ideas that everyday would use yet no seed money or wealthy friends & family. How would I even begin 😔

You've identified the hardest part of being an entrepreneur. It's taking that great idea and being able to actualize it! And there are companies out there that claim, with a few thousand dollars, you'll have your great idea patented and licensed. That doesn't happen. A small Nationwide launch can typically run well over a million dollars. And most people don't have that, of course. That's why so many entrepreneurs want to work with us.
So - take bite-sized pieces. What's ONE STEP you can take to get just a little bit closer to your goal? Start the process of getting closer and closer to where you want to be - and at some point you'll have it solid enough that people WILL invest money with you. And you can grow from there.
Incidentally, I will soon be launching a video series on entrepreneurship that will tell any first time entrepreneur exactly what they need to do in order to get from idea to launch. Look out for it on the ideapros website, maybe a month from now. In the meanwhile, I provide tips every day on Instagram @officialfredcary, and we have a series of video guides on YouTube on the IDEAPROS page. Fred

I previously wrote a review for IdeaPros. Although my first interaction with this company wasn’t what I expected, they have made an effort to not only hear my concerns but they also apologized about the mishap. That’s really rare for big companies and it gave it a real personal touch. For that I am grateful. We spoke and things have been very pleasant since. I would absolutely recommend reaching out to them if you’re looking for help getting started with your idea. They are pros of course. Do not be like me. Exercise a little patience. I promise it’s worth it. Good luck.

Well thank you. You know being an entrepreneur is really, really hard. Working with entrepreneurs is equally as hard. Anyone who's not entrepreneurial thinks that we are all crazy.
And the truth is we are.
It's only crazy people that change the world. The dreamers - the believers; the people who will continue despite what all their friends and family tell them is impossible. And we can't help everyone. But I have tried to broaden the level of services and solutions we can offer to people, whether you're ready for a full partnership or you just want to read some of the free materials in our blogs on our Web page.
Entrepreneurship is a journey - but it's also a club of very dedicated, motivated, and inspirational people.
Welcome to the club.

IdeaPros seem totally on the up and up
IdeaPros seem totally on the up and up. The front man sales rep I have been working with has been great, very patient with me and has answered all my questions. IdeaPros seem to be the perfect fit for me, the problem is, I cannot raise the $100k needed to engage IdeaPros. Is there a service like IdeaPros where visionaries with what they believe is a great idea can get help with no capital to invest upfront? I am looking for a partner like IdeaPros to come onboard as the catalyst that will make it possible to raise the seed money. I have no chance of raising the seed money as a lone, inexperienced, 65 year old founder. I need a partner to get over that hurdle, I know many wealthy people but they did not get wealthy betting on long shots like me. Any suggestions.
Fred, thank you very much for your reply. I know you are correct and offer great advice. I am looking for a needle in the haystack, I need a young co-founder that shares my vision and has money to invest. Maybe if I post enough things like this the right person will read it.
The venture is likely not the next “big thing”, most likely it will be a sound small business venture, creating a handful of jobs, generating a decent return for investors and providing the founders a good living. That is how I see it. However, what the entity will accomplish is the “legacy”. This business will generate tens of millions of dollars in “new” funding flowing to nonprofits across the country.
It is a damn shame I cannot get this done!

well, first of all, I love your statement at the end "I know many wealthy people but they did not get wealthy betting on long shots like me." Bob - we're ALL long shots. Anytime you want to change the world even the most experienced of us are still long shots.
So - a couple of suggestions. First of all, forget the notion that any corporate investor will directly invest in, as you describe yourself, an inexperienced founder. Frankly, there is no other company I'm aware of that will even risk what we do. First it's a massive amount of work; second, because a lot of it is experience and brain power, you can find yourself with a partner that thinks you "didn't do very much;" just like the heart doctor patient whose life was saved but then complained to the doctor that he just did an EKG and a couple of blood tests.
So - if your idea rocks, the very first place to go with it is with friends and family. It you have a well laid out presentation you will be surprised how many of those "wealthy friends" may open up their wallet for you. Other than than you can try an incubator - they may assist for a small part of this to move you forward a little.
While we can't currently help you we do want to see as many entrepreneurs succeed as possible; so don't hesitate reaching out to your business advisor, Grant, and he'll help you get answers.

I can tell you that IdeaPros has been…
I can tell you that IdeaPros has been an absolute SUPERSTAR in teaching me how to be an entrepreneur and bringing my idea and product to market. We are getting ready for a launch this week when our sample run is complete!!! I couldn't have done this without IdeaPros who I had to competitively pitch my idea to (meaning they might not have accepted me as a partner), then did survey and market research as well as renamed my product and designed the packaging for my product. I knew this was not going to be an easy process but IdeaPros has walked me through the process and I ABSOLUTELY COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH WHAT IDEAPROS HAS HELPED ME ACCOMPLISH!! This process is hard and if you try and do ALL of the things needed to bring a product to market with NO knowledge, you would spend and waste so much time and money trying to figure it out. This is what IdeaPros do! They are the catalyst and mentor for your project! IF you are lucky enough to become a partner of IdeaPros consider yourself one of the most privileged people ever as a new an upcoming entrepreneur!!! You couldn't be in better hands!! Feel free to contact me at PocketRocketGO if you need more information on how much they have done!!! Good luck all!! Raphael B.

You are awesome! So proud to launch, we must have tried 100 formulations before we were happy. And, you're right, being an entrepreneur is REALLY hard. We will give you an unfair advantage but, at the end of the day, if you don't have the drive, patience, spirit and determination of Raphael, you may as well just stay home.

Not a review but a question
I'm not sure if IdeaPros can help, but perhaps they can tell me if there's someone who can. I have really big ideas (like theme parks and a new kind of movie theater), but I have no engineering knowledge and no money to make them. I feel like only the likes of Disney or Universal Studios would have the resources to build them, but they are too concerned about being sued (understandably) to accept any creative ideas. I am convinced that these ideas could be profitable in the right hands, but fear they are destined to die with me. Am I just one of the millions of dreamers who will never make anything of their ideas or is there actually a way to connect with the right people to make them a reality?
(I'm writing this here because my question didn't really fit the form on the IdeaPros websites and I have seen that they actually respond to the reviews)
Response from IdeaProsJul 25, 2021
Hi Sonya. Wow, you do dream big! So, my advice is to think a lot smaller first. Look at your big plan and figure out what one piece of it is the most doable. You'll need investors and it's a lot easier to get buy-in is your have a strategy that is achievable. Dreams stay dreams unless you act on them. So find the smallest piece to start with and go step by step. There is a ton of content on our Facebook page and on the ideapros blog page that can help you raise money and figure out a game plan.i want a lifetime ticket! :) Fred

Question about the equity position IdeaPros will take
I have had no experience thus far with IdeaPros yet, however, I gave a 5 star review because everything I have researched about you seems extravagant. My question for you is when I pitch an idea to you, you like it, we partner and you take a minority position in the company, roughly how much equity will IdeaPros own? And what goes into the equation to determine the percentage of equity you will own?
Response from IdeaProsJul 6, 2021
Hey Quentin. In exchange for saving you around 80% of what it would otherwise cost to do a product development and nationwide launch, we seek apx 30% equity. And we are your partner rather than a service provider so, if anything goes wrong, we'll work with you until it's right. And our name carries weight when, after launch, you need to open doors or seek growth investment.
