Booking process fraud.
Booking process fraud. On November 14, 2025, I paid ID90 Travel $2,760.53 via my American Express card for a stay at the Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen (April 26 – May 1, 2026). When I contacted the resort on April 20, 2026 to request a cabana rental, I discovered the merchant never secured the booking. The itinerary number was fake or invalid, and my name was nowhere in their system. For three consecutive days (April 20–22), I repeatedly attempted to resolve this with ID90 Travel agents (Mia, Lucy, George, and Blake). They failed entirely to provide a valid confirmation. On April 22, Representative Blake flatly refused to re-push the reservation and fix the integration issue with Hyatt. Facing total service failure, a non-existent booking, and the risk of being stranded abroad with pre-paid flights and transfers, I had no choice but to cancel this fraudulent booking and demand a full refund from ID90 Travel, which the merchant has failed to process. To rescue my vacation, I was forced to re-book the identical room directly through Hyatt at the absolute last minute, paying a significantly higher rate out of pocket due to ID90 Travel's negligence. ID90 Travel breached their agreement, took my money, and failed to provide the contracted service.
