Unethical and "answered" (not!!) with someone lying about specialty
I used their website 4/26/23. They state you get one free answer to your medical questions. A dishonest doctor (Dr Kaushal Bhavsar) whose specialty was pulmonology and did not list hematology as one of the three specialities he listed for himself (click on his name when your answer comes up to see what they state is their specialty) claimed hematology on his so called "answer" (on 5/2) which is what my question related to - you have to pick a specialty when you post a question so he knows what he has to pretend to have a specialty in. Unlike what comes up when you browse the website where people get real answers in the first response to their question, all he did was ask me questions on 5/2 that I had already answered in the information I had already given when I asked the question. Then to get him to actually answer my question I'd have to pay $49. So much for the one free use of the website to get an answer. I did not pay. There appears to be some doctors scamming patients, lying about their expertise and then not honoring that you get one free "visit" (eg answer) to your question. Instead they only ask questions you already put the answers to in the initial information so they can charge you for an answer. Very unethical and dishonest. Also the website is not fully functional if you turn trackers off and your IP address visibility. I'd imagine they will sell our information since this company is in India and not required to follow HIPAA. The kind of detailed information you have to give would be very, very valuable to pharma marketers. You might get lucky and get an actual answer by a doctor in the specialty you need or you might get what happened to me. Use at your own risk. I chose not to pay since a scammer answered me who lied about his specialty as well. RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE HERE: First of all I think you mean compliant rather than complaint, although maybe you are telling us you have both EU and USA privacy complaints against you? LOL Second of all prior to posting here I have already sent a customer service complaint via your website contact form and have received no response. Posting here to tell us to contact you when I already had done that (via your website contact us form) and so far have been met with silence doesn't help your case. The message sent by ignoring complaints sent by your website but posting here telling us to contact you doesn't help your image. You think that makes you look good, but then when don't bother to respond to us when we contact you via your website it sends the message you have no intention to actually addressing the problems of lying about your free consultation scam. If you had the time to post here 3 days after I filed my complaint on your website you had the time to respond to my complaint I sent you even earlier than posting here. No change to my review or star rating. In fact it is even worse since your response is just words here and not action (or even a response) with respect to the earlier complaint I filed on your website. Tells me you only want to look good here rather than do anything about the problems as you don't see them as problems and your business model is actually one that includes lying and scamming people. ANOTHER UPDATE So today (5/18) the company resubmitted my question as if it was a new question and didn't tell me they were doing that. I got an answer within an hour (of course I didn't need it 3 weeks later as I had finally been able to see my doctor). Since they didn't notify me they were doing this (and I didn't notice until after the fact it was listed as a new question posted 2 hours ago and the doctor answered one hour later) I rated the 2 sentence answer as not timely I was wrong. it was timely for the stunt they pulled. Now the "injured party" is their doctor (the two sentence answer was pertinent) and in my opinion the company needs to pay the $49 to the doctor. I am not going to do this because they didn't ask me if I wanted it reposted 3 weeks later as I would have said no. And, of course, this wasted the doctor's time since the question was an old one. On the website I see no way to remove my question so there is no way that I can see to prevent things like this from happening if the company is going to do things like this. Sigh. And I notice now you changed your response and claim you don't have my email - that is untrue since you need that to create an account and need to create an account to post a question. You also have been spamming me which requries my email address as well. Lying in your modified response to me doesn't help your case. I stand by my one star rating of this company.
