Possible the worst company I've ever done business with. They hide clauses in their contracts that give them full ability to make changes to your retirement accounts that cost you money so they can earn more revenue. You sign away administration rights. They are untrustworthy and disloyal to their customers. They don't bother getting anything resolved in a timely manner. Their customer service teams give you all kinds of different answers and runarounds so you can't even figure out how to solve problems through them. If you use them, just write off any money you give them.

I had a very disappointing experience with Human Interest. While employed, I had a 401(k) plan with them, but after leaving the company, the process of transferring my funds to an IRA was extremely delayed. During this delay, ongoing fees significantly reduced my savings. Additionally, when I submitted a withdrawal request on July 8, it was lost, and customer support initially claimed there was no record of it, suggesting the issue was on my end. After multiple attempts and expressing my frustration, they admitted to having issues with their computer system and told me I needed to wait even longer. It feels like they are deliberately delaying the process to charge another month of fees. Eventually, they promised a manual refund within 5-7 business days but provided no documentation to confirm this. Overall, I’m extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Human interest will do everything to not rollover your 401k. Its been over a month and still trying to get my 401k rollover, have been getting excuses as to why the money is not reaching me. Customer service said they needed the account number to where the transfer was going, but i see it when I logged in to my Human interest account.

Human Interest filed our reporting late, causing severe stress for me as a small business owner given how serious it is to be non compliant with the IRS. They did not reply to my request for help timely and frankly didn't seem to care much about their customers.

signed up more than a month ago and the 2 contributions have been pending forever and have yet to be processed.

I relly wish I had an option to go with another company. Never have I ever had a financial institution guilt trip me into putting more money into their pockets. On multiple occasions during 401k setup I was not suggested, but insulted into making "riskier decisions" using their words, at their recommendation. Let alone telling me I was "leaving money on the table" when I only selected a 1:1 match. How does that work?? If I'm getting the maximum match there is no more money left for me to get. They instead recommend I do around 12% of each paycheck and told me it was a poor decision to do only the match. Truly insulting. I truly believe these people have no interest in me or my retirement and just want free money to play with until they have to give it back 40 something years later. Nor have i ever had a financial institution ask me to leave a review. This isn't an app or a game. This is a 401k My experience with Newport/Ascensus in the past was nothing but professional. Human interest, however, are a bunch of clowns and beggars.

Human Intrest is a middle man for Vanguard I am forced to use because thats what my employer chose No support phone number, all is done through emnail which takes days super slow funding to my account,the website itself is not intuitive at all and supplies no real data..Unlike Fidelity or a real broker . I am not sure why anyone would use Human Interest ,there is no value here

Only reason giving 1 star is because wouldn't let me do zero ever since my company changed to Human interest have done nothing but loss money and customer service sucks.
