HUDWAYReviews of hudway.co

I received my Hudway Drive and I'm very happy with it. Mounted the device in an Audi A5 Cabrio and it works fine and as I expected. If I give Hudway a 4 star rather than 5 it's because of the long term delivery. If you can wait for it it's worth to order it. Don't expect a quick delivery but a good device in the end ;-)

I have been an early adopter and backed the campaign through Indiegogo for more than a year before the unit was in production. The unit works great 👍 and the display is so helpful! Is the unit perfect??? No it is not but few things are! An early version of the navigation was terrible but the company replaced it with something much better. Now it works great and I would urge you to “Take a chance” … you’ll not be disappointed! The company has always been very supportive and quick to respond to technical questions. They really care about providing a good product at a reasonable price.

It's been a difficult journey with Hudway. At times I have been so angry I couldn't see straight but I have come to believe that the company leaders ARE doing everything they can to make a good product and take care of their customers. By the way, the product is really great. I use it every day and when I'm driving a different car, I miss my HUD.

I have been using my Hudway for a few years now. I have switched cars since I've the device. I went from a car that never really did well with emails and I was unable to get them announced when they arrived through the car. The Hudway was great as it showed the text. I purchased it mainly to interact with my entertainment system and texts notifications which it did wonderfully, and of course the HUD. I became addicted to the HUD. While my new car has Android Auto, so it takes care of all the notifications, maps, and such. I still like the ability to see directions and speed in the HUD, so I still use it. It no longer seems to work with the ODB, but since my new car has all that info built in, it's not as important. Great product, just needs some tweaks to keep up with new cars and changes in the ability to work with the changing interfaces.

The product for one is very good and innovative, not just from myself but also to all people who sees it. Ive had several requests for support and the team have been very helpful and extended extra mile.

I waited like 3 years for my order to be filled. but what I got had glitches like a warp in my clear screen that split a sentance going up with one eye and down with the other eye. but they have agreed that's a problem and have promised to send me a new screen. kudos. I also had problems connecting. my phone saw the HUD, but the HUD said it wasn't connected. but with several firm ware updates, that seems to have been eliviated. Kudos! I even got a engine temp from my OBD that I didn't have before. Kudos. We both have worked together to fix production errors so It's been ok. they are wholey behind their product, and want to keep it the gold standard of the 3rd party Huds. thanks to Polly.

Although there were some production challenges at beginning but I think the Hudway team to trying everything they can to fulfill the order and Customer Service is very responsive.

This is a product I bought a few years ago to replace the Navdy Hud which went bankrupt. The Navdy started at about us$700 on its release. This way cheaper then the Navdy and also not as advanced with less bells and whistles. However it does a great job of navigation, The hud screen is sharp and clear and with just the right information for navigating and some car information. The Hud plugs into the cigarette lighter or usb power and collects car information from an OBD Bluetooth connection. The original software was very low grade to begin but has been updated to a quality product now. Customer service has been great and have followed up my earlier complaints promptly and with care. Product improvement is still ongoing. I use the product daily now and am happy.
