Pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised! I placed an order 2x tickets for Chelsea vs. Southampton on 26 December. I made the order on 9 December and immediately had buyer’s remorse after looking in to online reviews. Hot Tickets emailed me to asked for a copy of my passport and a picture showing the last 4 digits of the card I paid with. When I asked why they said it was to verify my identity as my bank had declined the original transaction. This and the fact their communication, whilst frequent to respond, was worrying as emails were not not signed off by a person; simply as ‘customer services’. There were red flags which made me uneasy. That being said, I received a text message on 19 December to tell me the tickets would be delivered by 1pm the next day. The tickets did arrive on 20 December, were genuine and had no issues at the stadium. Alls well that ends well this time around - except for Chelsea’s performance and the result, but I can’t blame Hot Tickets for that.
