I would give HotelsinAmerica zero stars if it was possible. I booked a hotel room through them for an upcoming medical surgery. When my surgery was cancelled by my insurance company a week in advance, I called the hotel and cancelled my reservation. I then followed all of HotelsinAmerica's "rules" for a refund, but they have ghosted me entirely. The hotel itself cannot help me. DO NOT USE this company to book your travel reservations! They are scammers.

I paid extra for extended cancellation and now they want my fathers death certificate, my birth certificate and they won’t refund me unless i give them my bank account number. These people a sleazy as hell. What they do should be a crime

This site is a scam. Booked a hotel through this site. Got a confirmation. Hotel has no record of my booking. Called the hotline: gave me booking confirmation for the hotel. Hotel said its not in their system. Absolutely insane. Have to try to recover my money from the credit card company.

It is scam. They will say you booked twice. Might as well book at hotel.

It’s actually Priceline. I got a service charge from the hotel that ended up bringing the price up to the same as the desk rate. Not the hotel’s fault out at least not the clerk’s fault. The desk clerk tried to warn me (i was at desk when I booked from HotelsInAmerica) but I didn’t understand. It’s a total scam and I didn’t see any indication that it was affiliated with Priceline. Just another abuser that should be punished, boycotted, blocklisted by the people. I’ve been tricked by yet another criminal corporation.

At checkin was told the reservation had been cancelled. Then customer service was called and they said the hotel had cancelled the day before because of overbooking. There were rooms available though. Hotel said it had been cancelled months ago by hotelsinamerica, I had not been notified and not been reimbursed. My profile says it was cancelled today. They are messed up, would never book through them again.

Horrible scam company. Told me I could get a refund after an hour and a half on the phone after booking the wrong date, that I needed "written proof" from the hotel and once I got it, they refused to give it to me.
