HostLegends – The Worst $150 Investment, Total Scam! If you're considering HostLegends, stay far away! My experience with them has been an absolute disaster – from unreliable service, hidden charges, and non-functional tools to shady business practices. 🔴 Unreliable and Poor Support I purchased a domain and VPS from them, thinking I would have a reliable setup when I needed it. When the time came to use them, neither worked! Their support was completely unresponsive, leaving me stranded without any help. I had to find alternative solutions elsewhere, which meant wasting both time and money. I also paid for additional tools like PageMingo and VidMingo, which were supposed to make website management and video hosting easier. The result? None of them worked properly! On multiple occasions, videos on VidMingo simply stopped working, leaving my course buyers unable to access content. Instead of providing a solution, I had to move everything to Vimeo at my own expense, causing extra costs and unnecessary stress. 🔴 Hidden Charges and Dishonest Practices Even though I canceled everything on time, they still sent me an extra invoice without my consent! This is, in my opinion, a completely unethical practice where they try to force you into additional payments. 🔴 Bribing Users to Remove Negative Reviews After I left a negative review, they offered me a bonus if I removed it. Instead of fixing their issues and improving their service, they try to manipulate user opinions. This only confirms how desperate they are to cover up their incompetence. 💀 Bottom Line: Worst $150 Spent – Avoid at All Costs! This was one of the worst investments I have ever made. The service doesn’t work, customer support is useless, the add-ons are a scam, and they might even charge you for things you didn’t order. Even basic services like a domain and VPS were completely unreliable! 🚨 Do not fall for their false promises! If you need reliable hosting, VPS, or video services, go for trusted alternatives like Vimeo, YouTube, or reputable hosting providers. 💥 Don’t make the same mistake – save your money and avoid the headaches! 💥

I purchased a bundle package but I’m still getting charged for every little thing. They charged me for VPS services of $120 when I purchased it in the bundle. Tech support doesn’t read the ticket entirely and ignores what they want. I can’t use their services. PageMingo.com is always down so my website is always down. Terrible. I like Hostinger better.

I had high hopes when I signed up with Hostlegends for my website hosting, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I encountered recurring issues with server downtime that lasted over 11 days, leading to a significant loss of revenue for my business. Despite their efforts to migrate my website to a new server, the problems persisted, impacting my online presence and causing financial strain. I reached out to their team, and while they were responsive, the lack of a timely and effective solution was disappointing. I understand the complexities of server migration, but the recurring disruptions were unacceptable. I respectfully requested a refund, considering the service agreement terms and the impact on my business, but I was informed that a refund was not possible at this stage, which adds to my disappointment. I believe in fair and reliable service, which unfortunately, I did not receive. I hope my feedback helps Hostlegends improve their services for future clients. I appreciate the response from Hostlegends.com, but I must clarify and elaborate further on my experience to shed light on the magnitude of the issues faced during my time with the service. During the alleged DNS propagation process, which Hostlegends claims lasted 24-28 hours, the reality of downtime extended far beyond that. Over 11 days, my website was rendered virtually inaccessible, causing a severe dent in my business's revenue stream. These disruptions, contrary to what was asserted, were not merely a short propagation delay but a substantial period of loss and financial strain. Throughout these tumultuous 11 days, I lodged several complaint tickets with Hostlegends, each time receiving assurances that they were actively resolving the server issues. Regrettably, this wasn't an isolated incident; it marked a recurrent pattern of server instability that I had encountered over the one year of my tenure with Hostlegends. Even after their suggestion to migrate to a new server due to purported issues with another customer, the problems persisted, prompting my decision to move to an alternative hosting company for the stability and reliability my business deserved. The denial of a refund for the remaining two years of service following these continual disruptions seems unjust, particularly since I've opted to transfer my hosting to another provider. It's disheartening that the information about the 30-day refund policy wasn't transparently communicated during the migration process, as it would have prompted an immediate request for reimbursement had I been aware. Support, while responsive, was hindered by the time zone difference, limiting effective and timely communication during critical moments of server instability. This compounded the frustration and hindered my ability to resolve the situation promptly. Despite the attempts by Hostlegends to reassure and retain my patronage, the substantial loss of business during those 11 days remains an undeniable reality. Their assurances now seem more like an attempt to shield themselves from responsibility rather than address the actual issues faced. In conclusion, the impact on my business during those 11 days far exceeds what has been stated, and the refusal of a refund for the remaining two years of service seems unreasonable given the circumstances. My hope in sharing this detailed account of my experience is to prompt improvements in Hostlegends' services for the benefit of future clients.

We appreciate your feedback and regret any inconvenience you've faced. We want to clarify that the server was never down for the number of days you mentioned; rather, the perceived downtime was due to DNS propagation, a process typically taking 24-28 hours. We provided a complimentary migration and advised updating DNS promptly, which, unfortunately, was delayed, contributing to the disruption. Additionally, our 30-day refund policy was in place, but no refund request was made during that period. While we understand your frustration, asking for a refund after using the service for 2 years is not feasible and not possible as of now. We remain committed to supporting you and enhancing our services. Let's work together to ensure your website thrives. Please reach out for assistance.
