I recently purchased the E-Flite Air Tractor, 1.5. BNF Version. I've enjoyed E-Flite products (Radian, Radian XL, Timber, E-Flite Maule, formerly the Nano Vapor) until recently. Right out-of-the box, just after takeoff, the receiver stopped working and I lost control of the motor and all control surfaces. Brand new smart battery, brand new transmitter batteries, and my Spektrum transmitter works just fine on my other planes. Maybe it's the delays caused by COVID, but when I asked for a new (uncrashed) plane, they advised me to send the plane in for review at my expense. Not the Horizon Hobby that I used to know. I won't be purchasing any eFlite products in the future.

Mislead customers into reliable r.c. products..scammers who lie like cowards..batteries fail after short time..sell their junk by lies and false info..look into Align products..much better in every catagory..Joe Ambrose is a recognized scan artist..beware of horizon hobby

Poor Customer service

would love to give a better review but when i get hour and a half wait times + just to get a person is ridiculous. now when you do manage to get a person on the phone it is hit or miss as far as service as with any company but i have been lucky in that regards. my 1 star review is based on long wait time just to get a person on the line and never getting a callback when i went that route. if negative stars was an option i would give horizon a negative 5 stars for the long wait time. so if you have to call horizon have a full charge on your cell and have your charger ready as you will need it. i will say i have noticed prior to horizon buying tower hobbies it wasnt like this so my assumption is that the problem lies with tower and horizon now being one and the same but different ( proof is in the tower and horizon websites and how alike they are now).

Im Web steht, dass der Flagship Store in Barsbüttel auf hat. Dann fährt man 70 km hin und steht vor verschlossenem Tor. Bandansage der Hotline gibt auch nichts her bzgl. der Öffnungszeiten....fühle mich total verarscht und werde nicht einen Cent mehr in diesem Laden ausgeben. Dann halt Schweighofer... Ich lasse jetzt die rechtliche Relevanz per Anwalt prüfen. Damals unter Stauffenbiel war der Laden top.

I purchased the wrong item by mistake on eBay and after three attempts to contact Horizon Hobby to cancel my order they shipped it out anyway. I finally got a reply four days later letting me know that "Unfortunately, we are not able to cancel this order. Due to our highly automated system, once an order is paid for we are not able to cancel, change address or stop the package from shipping." Let this be a warning to anyone out there to be extra careful about ordering anything from Horizon Hobby's eBay store, as they neither monitor nor respond to customer messages or inquiries, which is completely unacceptable.

I had a brand newDX6e transmitter that failed to wrok at all when trying to load airplanes on it. The screen went white and wouldn't function at all. I contacted Horizon and explained the problem and they sent me a shipping lable to the repair facility I received the radio back in about 8 days after they received it. It worked when it turned it on. Two weeks afer that I turned it back on and it wouldn,t function. I contacted them again and the wouldn't warrenty their work, so I sent it back with their instructions by FedX and they say they never received it but FedX shows it delivered 5 days after I shipped it. I contacted product support several times with no response. The last time I contacted them I got an e-mail that my radio has be repaired by an update mesage and I had to give them money to send it back. The message came to my E-mail with another persons name on the header. I got ahold of product service and the reply was it was my radio. I insisted it couldn't be my radio be cause my radio didn't work. They said it was mine so I gave them the money. When I received the radio I trunes it on and low and behold it had a different persons name under the registry. They got it back with a nasty note and said at the end that if they can't find my radio give me a new one. Even their customer service by phone said that sounded reasonable but at this point i still haven't heard anything back, even after ai sent another nastygram to porduct service. We have been going around for well ofer a month on this and good luck to me if THEY EVER RESPOND

They do not respond on a legal complaint...? Now I need to activate my legal support.... No funshopping at all!!! Horizon Hobby Europe (Germany)
